Anyone know what the odds are on Brook/Vargas???
Since when is Vargas a ****er?

Brook will be extremely motivated for this fight coming off such disappointing opposition and finally getting a big fight to get himself up for.

I really like this matchup. Vargas has improved over the years but he is still a rung below the elite. Brook looks like he belongs among the elite. I think the one thing that stands out with him, the quality I see in the very best, is that he knows how to win and will do whatever it takes to walk home with that W. Not in a dirty fighting way but in a cerebral way. I still question his chin but even then, that is a steep, steep climb that Vargas will undertake in September.

Well, Vargas could've gotten the stoppage over Bradley, which would've been a better win than Porter. However, if you factor that out considering it wasn't an official win, Vargas has overall fought better opposition where as Brook has a close decision over Porter which is the only name on his record out of 36. Even Josesito Lopez would beat every name on Kell's resume outside of Porter. Brook has one good win where as Vargas while doesn't have anyone as good as Porter, but fought over all better opposition than Kell, so they're in the same bracket, call it elite or a rung below that,

Since his last two fights and when he moved up in weight just watch his fights?? Wiki doesn't tell you that though and I know reading his KO % on that site can be mis leading. You obviously have not seen him fight lately if at all

I have seen his fights yes, and there's absolutely no suggestion that he's suddenly a ****er whatsoever.

What we do know is that both would destroy Khan with ease.

Someone book mark this thread please, I don't want to hear how Vargas was a feather fisted cherry pick when Brook mops the floor with him.
