May be I always though he has good chin based on how he was hit by Lundy or Gamboa.. Yeah power wise he is better than Postol but only thing being this time around he has a taller opponent & then he is punching up than down which got him most of his KOs.. But that said, I think Bud will win this one.. but a close contest it will be..

height is the biggest advantage for postol. bud crawford only looks like he's around 5'7" or so, and postol is getting close to 6 feet tall. his shoulders are quite high off fo teh ground for a 140 lber. he's also beaten better competition, even if crawford is more experienced. probably around 3 inches longer in reach, too, even with how long crawford's arms are. postol is just a bigger guy in terms of his dimensions and his range.
postol is / should be a slight favorite. if they fight 12 times postol might win 7. i expect the odds to be close to even, maybe with crawford's HBO push he might get a slight favorite rating, but the fight shoudl be basically even.Comment

Just curious how you come to the conclusion that Postol has fought better competition than Crawford considering Postols best win was over Lucas Matthysse which was still a pretty close fight with excessive clinching but other than that he hasnt really fought anyone relevant Lundy gave him trouble in their fight and he beat Selcuk Aydin the same one who got outboxed by Jesus Soto Karass.height is the biggest advantage for postol. bud crawford only looks like he's around 5'7" or so, and postol is getting close to 6 feet tall. his shoulders are quite high off fo teh ground for a 140 lber. he's also beaten better competition, even if crawford is more experienced. probably around 3 inches longer in reach, too, even with how long crawford's arms are. postol is just a bigger guy in terms of his dimensions and his range.

Gamboa and Burns are multiple division champions regardless of what people who have never boxed in their lives say and Prescott was still seen as a big puncher at 140 and Crawford moved up on schooled him when he was still a lightweight. Burns and Gamboa alone beat anyone on Postols resume including their common opponent of Lundy who Crawford broke down. I think Crawford wins a close tactical fight with a lot of holding no disrespect to Postol because he is a good figher I just think Crawford has the intangibles to winComment

Can't wait to see this.
I base my knowledge of Postol's power mostly on stopping Matthysse... but does anybody know what's up with his somewhat low KO ratio?
Not sure if anyone on here's been following his career for more than a few years, just curious about it.Comment
