Comments Thread For: Crawford Respects Postol's Refusal To Fight Him In Omaha

NEW YORK Terence Crawford understands Viktor Postol's reluctance to fight Crawford in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. Crawford never actually asked to have their junior welterweight showdown in Omaha, but Postol's handlers made it clear that they wanted to face Crawford in neutral territory. They'll fight July 23 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (HBO Pay-Per-View).

This would be a cracker of a fight... The best facing the best.. Hard to pick a winner although I am going with my gut & think Crawford will win by SD..

Would of been able to make more money in Omaha, probably. Crawford can put asses in seats there. Not sure how well it will do in Vegas.

I don't know, it is a heck of a fight.

I think Crawford might be winning on points, but Postol connects and then we will have to see if Crawford can take a punch.

The question is, can Postol hurt people?
If so, Crawford looses this one.

tbh.. I think Hank Lundy landed a few on Bud & he seemed to take it well.. But yeah, lundy is no Postol & Postol also stopped Matthysse so he much carry decent power.. Its all about rangy fighter vs switch hitter, I think power wise Bud is higher but can he punch up with enough power will also be a factor..

But you are spot on about this being on heck of a fight..

I think it might sell out in vegas if the undercard is good too.. It might do more in numbers as its a PPV & its in vegas(higher gate)..

I think Crawford carries more power, but looks s bit "Hearnsny" on the chin.

I like Crawfords mindset....a throwback fighter willing to take on challenges.....I think he has to much for postol and wins a late stoppage and his style is much more fan friendly .. TC all the way
