Look at the bounce in his legs, he looked he could do 15 rounds. The stoppage was BS...referee was obviously influenced by the Wembley crowd, yes AJ might have stopped him eventually, but he wasn't out on his feet and when he was against the ropes the punches were landing on his arms. I feel another blitz from Wlad in round 12 would have stopped AJ. Also, no need for all that pomp and ceremony with AJ on a platform...like he was the second coming of Ali... Sky TV commentary was nauseating, "The hopes of a nation rests on one mans shoulders"...really? puke

refs have to juggle between keeping the guys safe (or as safe as possible. we know their corners wont) and keeping the action moving. how do you think refs feel when a guy ends up in a coma or worse ?
us fans typing ''RIP'' doesnt do shlt for the poor sap who ''could have gone another rd or 2''.

People were way too quick to write Wlad off. they forget he also was quick on his feet vs Fury. Fury is just a totally different style to someone like AJ who's more static.

old runners can still finish marathons but not like they used to. hence, they got old.
why is it such a strange concept ?

A forty year old fighter doesn't have the reflexes he had when he was younger. In a close fight that can make all the difference especially when the punch count is low and each one counts. Wald compounded the problem by not throwing enough. Both fighters showed a lot of determination and it was a good fight. My take away is that Joshua has a stamina problem. Don't know if anyone except the top Heavyweights can exploit it or if it's something he can work on.
