Sure, people blamed Haye for the Fury/Haye fight not happening, because it was Haye who pulled out of it.

But nobody said it was David Haye's fault when Fury fought Abel. Fury wasn't the champion or even the top contender back then. Many people saw Fury/Abel as one bum fighting another bum, to be honest, nothing to do with Haye at all.

Nobody is faulting Wilder for Povetkin cheating, we are faulting him for this disgracefull choice of a shot, old, no-hope punching bag for a voluntary defence.

What you're intentionally ignoring is the fact that Wilder will fight Areola and not skip a beat before fighting a real contender when one is available. Most guys would just wait. Guys like you taller cheap shots instead of recognizing that he's keeping busy.

Also, Wilder fought Stiverne, a guy most of you said would destroy him. Golovkin has never had a competitive opponent like that since being champ. I'm not even a Wilder fan, I'm defending logic and common sense more than I'm defending Wilder.

Fact is your hero is a zero. He's fighting yet another can... who himself just failed a post fight test for banned substances. He's even too scared to fight the real winner of that fight, Kaufman. Honestly, I'll be surprised if this fight even happens, if they're doing strict testing that is. Remember, Arreola loves his weed and burritos a lot.

How anyone can criticise David Haye for his opponents (since moving to HW) when you have a "champion" like WIlder facing the quality of opponent to help him remain as champion.

When is WIlder going to fight a top quality opponent? Is it ever going to happen? or is he happy keeping the belt and appearing on the cover of sports illustrated.

I'm of the opinion a fighter has to have an ego... after all it's his courage which he needs in the ring. Just like an actor needs when they're on the stage. But that in itself is a slippery slope for boxers. And Wilder has proven he's 2/3 ego and 1/3 ba llz. The real nail on the coffin for boxing would be if he somehow gets inducted into the IBHOF.

Haye? Who has his embarrassing "haye day" events against absolute losers. At least people have heard of the guys Wilder fights. Haye pulled out of the last 2 real fights he had signed on. The guy is all-talk and wants to talk his way into a title fight rather than earn it. Fighting Briggs is a real accomplishment. lol.
