His fans sure are easy to please.
Personally, I consider Canelo harmful for boxing, so I want him to fight Golovkin or Saunders so he can lose and boxing then will be saved.

monroe seems to forget that he got beat up on the inside. yes he landed more but he also got hit more. he's going with the amir khan accomplishment of landing a couple punches=he was doing good while ignoring the other guy knocking him around the ring then out lol

I have to wonder if Monroe honestly believes that after being nearly obliterated in the second round, he was able to figure out GGG, and "put in his best work" in rounds 3-5, or if he realizes Gennady dropped his guard and was letting Willie hit him. Its pretty apparent that Golovkin was sticking his chin out, beating his chest and waving his arms for Monroe to hit him. I dont think Canelo will have the luxury of such treatment.

Monroe calls what he did against Golovkin "good work". I call it his best failed effort.

Damn that is one protracted uppercut in your sig. It's like he wanted to wipe the floor behind his feet with it before bringing it up and hitting Cotto with it.

Very nice counter and duck against a slow Cotto who needlessly reached, but you can see why Mayweather picked him apart. I'd still like to see Canelo against Floyd at 155 because if Canelo actually has just a little stamina and speed at 155, we saw what old Cotto at 154 did against Floyd, saw what Maidana and even Berto did, so if Canelo could actually fight that way he would kick Floyd's ass because he has way more natural power than those guys. Even fighting at 152 and fighting like ****, Floyd said that Canelo hit him with one body shot that "he still feels." That was a year after the fight or something.

If Canelo could actually fight that style, that's one fight where Fl0mos would actually be right about the weight and strength disparity and Floyd's body would fold eventually.

But, Canelo has never shown he can fight that style.

That there's no indication that canelo would beat GGG. In fact, canelo chickened away from the fight.

GGG would probably give Alvarez the same medicine he gave Lemieux. Sure enough, Canelita is very good on the inside but his foot work will never get him past that jab.

GGG is more harmful to boxing than Canelo.

Canelo is younger with a far better resume.
