Canelo can very much win that fight when it happens.

Monroe has a point.
Nobody ever schooled Ginger fighting in the Pocket.
Nelo got beat by Floyd from the outside, almost beat by Lara, again from the outside.
In a FIGHT, toe to toe, Canelo has tremendous skills.
GGG is the perfect style for Nelo, GGG'll be coming at Nelo, so Nelo will easely find his distance, GGG is obviously a mid range fighter who likes to cut off the ring.
Where I disagree with Monroe is he's not taking in count the size and power.
GGG is 5"10 1/2, Ginger 5"9, they have the same reach recorded but dunno about that.
When they faced each others in that ring, I was like damn, GGG is bigger.
What would worry me about Nelo is, while he was able to outbox a smaller ma, like Cotto, he never really hurt him.
You would expect a bit more of power in order to beat GGG in a fight.
Ouma showed what Golovkin can do if he stands in the pocket. Golovkin is so much more effective from the outside that they think he's very beatable on the inside. But if you stand on the inside and trade with Golovkin, he's going to be landing damaging shots. Canelo can beat him to the punch, but Golovkin won't stop firing just because Canelo lands first, in fact Canelo might be more vulnerable without his defense set.Comment

There's more benefit for him if GGG goes on to beat Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders, Jack, DeGale, etc. There is such an element in boxing where a loss can become less and less of an impact on your resume, the more that fighter who beat you keeps beating top names. If GGG beats Canelo, Monroe's loss to GGG won't look as bad. If Canelo beats GGG, that would really be GGG's first elite fighter and he loses, then Monroe's loss looks worseComment

How much do you think Canelo is?
Clealry taller for Kahn agreed, but Kahn is listed 5'8 1/2.
Floyd and Alvarez were about the same size, I would say Nelo is 5'8 maybe 5'7 1/2 but not less.Comment

"i said Canelo would beat him - i just know boxing"
Statements like that are best left until after the act Willie. An opinion isn't fact until proven so.
You also said you would beat Golovkin, which doesn't say much for your predictions or indeed your self-professed 'knowledge' of boxing...Comment
