Fury said the world titles mean nothing to him. His reaction to winning them suggests otherwise. He also said even if he lost this fight he would still be in big fights in future, then 10 minutes later he said he would lose if he retires.

I think Fury just says these things to try take the pressure off himself. He's almost trying to convince himself. You can bet anything though that Fury doesn't want to lose this fight. He's lost a lot of weight these last few weeks, if he didn't care....well you've all seen the bad shape he's turned up to in fights before.

Interesting.. Besides the inactivity is there anything else to make you come up with that conclusion.

It was beating Wlad that mattered

You think he'd care if he beat that american bum who got gifted his paper IBF belt?

        No. exacly.

Belts are worthless junk in todays boxing. The man you beat and his reputation/resume is what matters

Wilder/Joshua are nobodies compared to Wlad. Tyson had been calling him out for 2 years...he was underestimated and he he came out victorious. He is the man. Tyson Fury. What a bloke.

Fury must be playing mind games, he can't be serious that he doesn't care about winning or being the freakin HW Champ.

At that moment in time I think he was telling the truth.

But Fury is insanely competitive, so fight night will be entirely different.

Agree with this post. Fury certainly doesn't want to lose.

He dont care because he has it , like a millionaire saying money dont mean much , Fury is not out to be a legend he won the title and he is satisfied , he gets paid the same money win or lose .

Both these guys are ordinary if you ask me , HWs have been piss poor for years and years .
