There was no question. You made a statement and I simply said it was misjudged.

From the face-to-face interview you posted, I would suggest Wlads English language skills are not the best.

Sounding smart and being able to express your thoughts/feelings has everything to do with ones linguistic capabilities.

You were the one making a statement That it's because Wlad's English wasn't good enough. Then when I said it was you turn around and said he'd speak better in Ukranian. Which wasn't what we discussed.

Wlad has expressed himself just fine for 10 years in English. Sat in front of Tyson Fury he suddenly forgot the language.

Maybe Wlad did lose it but only insofar as the style he's adopted over the years; only committing the right when he's sure it will land, grabbing, holding and the leaning, is ineffective against a man with Fury's size and mobility.

I'd like to see Wlad come out aggressive and take risks like he's said he will. I was a fan of his once. He has a chance to partly redeem himself if he does that. Or maybe I'd just rue the fact that he's spent so long not doing it when he could of.
I'm with you. I think wlad got used to barely preparing and easily winning. I think he was embarrassed Enough by fury that he will adequately prepare for the rematch and easily dispatch fury. I think furys interview pretty much concedes that.

Happens at some point to all long-time champions but it's not always easy to bounce back from. Maybe you've forever lost that edge. Sometimes, the other guy is just the better fighter at that point.

I do think it'll be a much different fight if Wladimir lets his hands go. Maybe not necessarily in his favor but he has no choice. This is a huge, huge legacy fight for Wlad.

Mindset wise Fury has never sounded like he's in it for the long haul and the Gypsy/Travellers that I know are certain he won't still be about in two years time. But personally I wouldn't expect Fury's head to be in the same place that it was in that interview by the time the fight arrives.

Fury for sure says things that suggest he could retire at any moment...literally, but I feel like he's been boxing forever & wut the f#ck is he gonna do if he's not boxing really?

I think we got Fury around for several more years. I don't expect him to retire til another 5+ years (32yrs old+) at the earliest. If he does retire before than he'll for sure comeback. Boxing is in his blood even if he's in denial about that sometimes.

As for Fury on top, I think he'll be on top for as long as he wants to, with or without a belt, I could see him losing focus & dropping the belt & gaining the title back in a rematch as he re-gains his focus. I think he's the most talented, strategic mind in the game guy at HW right now by far & unless Joshua keeps looking like he's looking vs some legit contenders I suspect there is no one that can hold him back.

When you get an offer for millions of dollars to throw a fight, failure becomes an option. Clear as day there was an arrangement in place to ensure a rematch. Now Wlad will freely beat the crap out of Fury.

I'd like to see him stick around. He's worked hard enough and developed enough talent that he's worked his way into being the number one heavyweight in boxing. He has worked hard at that. Earlier on in his career a lot of what he was doing in the ring was awful. That's far from being the case now.

It'd be a shame if he walked because of a mental health issue. His depressive fluctuations in mood aren't going to go away because he no longer boxes. If anything sitting a home ruminating will only leave him more prone to them. Goal wise, I've always got the impression that he's trying his luck and seeing how far he can take it. Why stop at winning a title if you might be able to dominate a division? At the worst he can be involved in big, money making fights.

He says it doesn't mean anything to him and I'm sure at his lowest points very little in his life does. It's also part of the outlook that he uses to insulate himself from added pressure but when he's not low even he'd have to admit that being a travelling man and being the heavyweight champion of the world does mean a lot.
