Right...because whenever I speak of Rigo or Lara at NSB I clearly and always refer to a Gamboa context by 800% ...

It's ok bruv. It's quite normal in boxing that when a lower division champ moves up to fight a champ he's usually the underdog. you'd think p4p meanings would have anything to do with that too.. fortunately in boxing there have never been champions moving up to win another belt against another champ. Or rather, if you want the comedic route, let's say Oscar beating Sturm at 160... yes, anything is possible. your trollage powers don't work here guvnor!

Not really directed at you but more so IN GENERAL especially on this forum! People try to use to "He Would Destroy Him!" as a reason why a fight shouldn't be made those are who I'm directing my post at

Looks to me like both are looking for a quality opponent for their next fight so why not each other instead of us getting stuck watching them both in yet another mismatch

Angulo was getting absolutely embarassed til he started coming on then got stopped.

It's not always about power...just ask Floyd.

Comparing Stevens to any World champ is laughable. :/...

"Curtis Stevens...second best mw ever next to GGG can throw a left hook so you know Ward can't do anything." That's how it looks anytime someone compares stevens to an actually good fighter. Ward isnt Lara but thats the point... Stevens is a never was and a never will be.

Golovkin SHOULD beat Lara but just because he's the favorite doesn't mean he shouldn't him. Prove you can shut down a guy like Lara instead of using hypotheticals. Power isnt going to best Golovkin...Timing and skill will. Who better to test Ggg's rhythm and timing than Lara? Sure, ggg may run Lara over but that would be an impressive feat. Much better than beating on a nobody like stevens or wade or monroe..all three put togethr arent as good a win as Lara despite lara being smaller.

If not BJS (which lets be real..it's not happening in sept) and no Canelo..get Lara. Eubank should be a last resort. i dont think GGG should move on to 68 pounders just yet. The Zurdo fight will be better in a year or two if GGG can geta hold of Chavez Jr or Canelo to give zurdo that "mexican hope" type of title. Degale would likely get rocked judging by that porky fight..but that'd be a biggish fight and GGG should be expected to win yet be challenged.
i think lara is just using ggg's name, knowing the fight won't happen. he does these interviews but never says he tells his managers or haymon to call and make the fight for him

It doesn't matter if you think he can beat him or not, it's a step up in quality.

I personally don't think he's hurting GGG with his left, and GGG's body and head shots is in a whole different league than Angulo.

If Stevens hit GGG with the best he had, and didn't even dent him, then Lara's left ain't gonna do a damn thing. And Stevens threw his left with no telegraph either. He was ripping counters, so I don't wanna hear about Lara hurting him because he throws it with more disguise.
Golovkin fights nothing like Angulo, and you know it; he doesn't fight on the inside, he's not willing to eat a shot to land to the body, and it's still unclear what his grit looks like when he has to fight.

Golovkin tries to keep pressure on a fighters mind, works to throw his shots from midrange, and doesn't seem to like throwing anything of worth from distance or in close.

Lara's not going to set his feet, Golovkin will try to get the fight to that midrange that he likes, Lara will pop him with a counter, and then move off line and keep boxing.

Golovkin's got a good punch, but people acting like he's one-punching everyone are delusional.
