pro athletes need to know what they're taking. lots of those supplement companies manufacture stuff that is banned by wada. you gotta look on the back of the label, and consult with the regulating bodies about what you can or can't take.

even if he's telling the truth about how he took it, and the average bloke could pull the stuff off of the shelves, he's still responsible for making sure he's not taking anything on the banned list.



now, if the guy took supplements that weren't banned, and they were "contaminated" during manufacturing, i'm much more lenient. those guys probably change over their filling line all the time, and there's no way in hell a washdown procedure is going to clean things enough for you to pass a drug test that detect a f#cking nanogram.

Whyte was very unlucky as the drink Jack3d contained a stimulant that's actually not banned to take while training it just shouldn't be in your system on fight night.

UKAD fully accepted that Whyte took the drink without knowing it contained any banned substance but should of carried out more checks.

Whyte has never been busted for roids. He was suspended after drinking an energy drink he bought over the counter and had used many times in the past.

One of the ingredients in the drink had been put on the banned list but Whyte didn't know that.
