  • What do you think of Dan Rafael?

I find him to be distasteful. I think he came into boxing at the right time when it was not a marquee sport and was able to land a great job because of it. He bothers me in the sense that he only likes **** fights and all out wars and fighters who fight in that fashion, basically career ending type fights. He is VERY disrespectful to people who put their life on the line every time they step into that ring.

He also engages in cyber wars with fighters which I think is extremely unprofessional. I like Brian Campbell much better but he moved on to MMA. Does anyone else find Dan Rafael bothersome?

I get the feeling deep down that he hates boxers. Maybe all the mean stuff they have said about him over the years in catching up. He has an open bias against foreign fighters as well.

I think he does boxing a disservice in many cases.

He clearly allows personal bias to interfere with his work, his interactions with fighters can be very cringe worthy, he's happy to dish out abuse but can't take anything in return, he's petty towards other reporters...

he's disgustingly bad at his job.

i don't know a guy, even on here that holds him in any sort of esteem.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed for him. It's like he's bitter toward professional boxers, ESPN could have someone much more magnetic fill his roll.

He's solid. He gets into way too many unprofessional situations for a guy who's on such a high level in boxing media doe. He acts like a poormans Adrien Broner if Broner knew wtf a paragraph was.

He looks to me like he's the sort of guy that's accidently swallowed some cutlery when eating, just because he couldn't stop his hands putting stuff in his mouth.

He's probably worth a few bob in scrap metal
