He's solid. He gets into way too many unprofessional situations for a guy who's on such a high level in boxing media doe. He acts like a poormans Adrien Broner if Broner knew wtf a paragraph was.

I don't know what you consider solid, If it's disrepecting the athletes you cover, Letting Certain Promotional companies control the message, brings no actual insight of the sport, the guy goes off compubox #s. Plays favorites with fighters & Promo companies and basically Brings nothing to the table except just report the news which anyone could do.

Plus he's a sensitive little b.itch when it comes to his weight. if your so ashamed put the Big Mac down and get on the treadmill

Your right he's able to construct coherent paragraphs so I guess that does put him in the 1% of boxing writers unfortunatly the words with in the paragraph are usually filled with biased 1 sided views, estrogen filled rants and unprofessional critiques of the athletes and the sport.

Agree with the last half though boxing is such a f.ucking carni side show with everybody involved from the writers,promoters, fans it allows hacks like Rafeal & Ellie to be sucessfull while they disrespect it and know next to nothing about the actual sport

You hit the nail on the head when you said he came in at the right moment. The guy is not even a very good writer. Nothing he writes is impressive journalism wise. He's more like a blogger who has access to a lot of insiders. I can't fault the guy. I used to read his stuff all the time until twitter and this site stepped up their game reporting breaking stories.

I also don't like how he engages in twitter wars with fighters, but it's nice to see guys in the media call people out.

You obviously ignore a lot of boxing writers, nothing wrong with that they usually suck, but I assure you Fat Dan is solid. Go read some of that **** that Scoop Malinowski(?) puts out. Or go check out that article from just a few days ago by a notable boxing writer that was like a essay broken down to one paragraph that he repeated at least 8 times. Dan's for sure not a hack in this business even if he's a biased (like everyone else) emotional weakling.

Elie on the otherhand is like a autistic success story with his goofy ass. Its amazing to me he's done what he's done & he makes me feel like I could be huge in boxing media if I merely applied myself + finally put the time in learning the difference between then & than. Strike the last part cuz I'm positive Elie don't know that **** either.

It is weird he hasn't lost weight considering he is in the public eye. When I saw him on sportscenter I felt embarrassed for him. He looks worse than ever.

Yeah man I honestly don't read much from boxing writers, Id say get most my info & updates from this site , YouTube or Podcasts

Yeah Dan can write but to me the opinins in it is what to me makes me lack respect for him. As far as Ellie it just shows hard work trumps talent because while I don't like him and find myself watching less of his channel, that *** works his @ss off. I think it was after the Mayweather / Maidana fight and the next day he literally had like 50 vids and like 10 hrs worth of behind the scene footage and a bunch of interviews. He works

Dude you give some of the best takes on this site I'm sure if you put 10% of the hustle in that Ellie does you could make it work. Im right there with you & Ellie not knowing when To use then & than.
