Had vargas winning but the fight was so close and could of gone either way. Can't complain with a draw. So much respect for both guys. Can't wait to see them fight again.

There are different levels in boxing and different fight styles. Vargas landed 386 punches and was hit with well over 300 punches. In comparison for Canelo you have to COMBINE his last 5 fights (angulo, lara, kirkland, cotto, khan) to total 386 punches landed on him. Canelo has way better defense and more boxing skills that's why fighters I just named are having some of their worst offensive production in their entire career when they face canelo. These guys don't have the defense or boxing skills canelo has so they have to stand in front of their opponent and get hit almost 400 times in 1 fight. Elite fighters don't get hit like this.

I can enjoy a slugfest that doesn't have elite skill or defense just rock em sock em robots and I can enjoy the high skill you see from elite fighters. One is not better then the other it's like saying a comedy is better then a horror movie. They are just different and depends on what you in the mood for or your taste in fighting style.
