Is that the same Andre Ward that said he wanted a fight with GGG in fall 2015 and fight Kovalev in spring 2016, only to send both of them offers which included tune ups and was nowhere near the same timeframe he eluded to? Is that the same Andre Ward who said in 2013 he wanted to fight three times a year, yet hasnt fought three times since then? Is that the same Andre Ward who said he thought the super 6 winner should fight Bute, but declined to fight Bute when he won the super 6? You keep believing the stories that he tells you.

The bottom line is this: Ward was offered a 50-50 fight for fall of 2015, and his counter was sometime mid 2016 or so. I'll get back to you next year, is what he said.

Why post this garbage when you know it misrepresents the GGG Ward situation? K2 NEVER offered Ward a fight. History proved by way of Froch what Ward believed... which was Bute didn't deserve the fight. I won't even honor the mess about fight frequencies.

If it's as simple as little g going down to 155, I think he is a coward if he's not willing to make the cut. Little g nut huggers say that Canelo is the bigger guy, so if that is the case, the cut should be tougher for Canelo, and be a benefit to little g.
For a guy who is dying for a big fight and everyone is "afraid" of him, he sure has a lot of excuses when fights are presented to him.

He is the ring champion, and most importantly, the Lineal middleweight champion of the world.

When he talks about unifying he's talking about physical belts. I don't know where this ring and lineal nonsense is coming from. This is the third time I saw someone bring this up when asked why is he still trying to fight Canelo instead of BJS

Yea. So it's really not about the belts.

Never offered Ward a fight? K2 never sent a notarized contract, but Tom made a very public, very certain statement. "Gennady will fight Ward this fall on a 50-50 basis." What is unclear about that? So I guess since Canelo never sent K2 a contract, he never said he would GGG at 160? Even though he said it on live TV with roughly half a million people watching. Loeffler said it on July 8, and Gennady himself reaffirmed it on SN a week later. Ward was on the same show the following week, and Kellerman and Wiley certainly thought it was an offer, as did most of the boxing reporters that reported the situation. I understand that this doesnt fit in with your whole 'GGG ducked Ward' scenario.

I never said Bute deserved the fight, only that Andre said it. Regardless what happened with Froch, Andre said it then did something else. Just like fighting 3 times a year. Just like fighting GGG in fall 2015. Just like fighting Kovalev spring 2016.

You dont want to talk about fight frequencies. Im sure you dont. Ward blamed his inactivity on Goosen and sued three times, losing each. So then he signs to Jay Z, and now everything is supposed to be better, right? Ward has been signed to Roc Nation for about 18 months now. What has Ward done? Taken 2 tune ups, cancelled a fight, and dropped a belt. Way to go Dre. Is Wards inactivity Jay fault? The bottom line is this, three years ago Andre Ward said he couldn't wait to fight 3 times a year. He hasnt fought 3 times since, much less 3 times a year...

... the fact is that Loeffler can't just pull out from the Canelo fight talks -- Oscar will immediately say "GGG ducked us"!
