The best thing that could happen is they sign a deal similar to the Ward/Kovalev bout(which i still doubt Ward will honor) giving Ginger 2 bums at 160 to test waters and Golovkin September 2017. I still doubt those deals take place but is the best that could happen.

yet boxing news 24 is reporting that callum smith was offered a Canelo fight....sounds like Loeffler is being strung along here.

Question. If Canelo precedes with his career in the foreseeable future fighting the top jr middleweights out there, is this whole GGG situation still viewed as a duck?

Liam Smith, said on Twitter that he was never offered the fight. Straight from the horses mouth. Said HE offered to fight Canelo. And hopes to secure the fight with a defense of his title.


Loeffler and DLH both said negotiations will continue after the All star lawsuit is over.
