Are you upset because the non-urban Povetkin can be said to officially be in violation?

It's not my fault that he chose to use chemical assistance, man. Don't take it out on me.

According to your link which I have already read, he is clean on a detection basis unless they rule that he ingested an extreme micro dosage between tests:

        Results management may be stayed:
        a.
If the concentration is between 1 and 15 μg/mL and the test was taken before 1 March 2016, given that the results of ongoing excretion studies are needed to de termine the time of the ingestion.

        b.
If the concentration is below 1 μg/mL and the test was taken after 1 March given that the results of ongoing excretion studies are needed to determine the time of the ingestion.

But WBC has taken over the investigation so who knows what they will decie.
Absolutely incorrect. Nothing in that indicates Povetkin is"clean." At best, his discipline is stayed (i.e., delayed) for further investigation.

However, to again quote WADA, "The mere presence of meldonium in an athlete’s sample collected on or after 1 January 2016 constitutes an anti-doping rule violation under article 2.1 of the Code." https://wada-main-prod.s3.amazonaws....-notice-en.pdf

Crazy that there was no ban and the original purse bid stood up. Nothing like a few fees paid here and there to get your way around the rules.
