Those polls include media/journalists/historians from inside and outside the US. The names of those polled are almost always included.

Bro.....he lost to the closest rival for best of the era....so he isnt the best because he lost to mayweather and people mayweather beat(marquez)

Leonard actually beat his best opponents unlike Pacquaio who never beat Marquez clearly with 4 tries...mayweather whitewashed him

He was past prime, inactive vs Norris and he beat Hagler....he went 2-1 vs duran

it was clear he was the best just like its clear Mayweather is in his era.

now if you have a preference to what you like to watch, thats cool, it just has nothing to do with who is better. thats proven in the ring and mayweather proved it.

Best businessman of this era? sure

best or greatest fighter? no way

his legacy is one of cherrypicking and cowardice, of having every single advantage stacked in his favour in almost every fight, of denying fans the matches they wanted to see, of avoiding threats and ducking big names until they were washed up

there's nothing great about beating handpicked no hopers in boring snoozefests while calling yourself TBE

so manny is better than a fighter who beat him?

                  mayweather beat more champion

mayweather beat more hall of famers

he has more title defenses...lineal and alphabet

he has won more title fights

he had no need for all those rematches like Pacquiao because he was more DOMINANT

                  its called LOGIC....common sense

just because you dont like a person doesnt mean you throw common sense out of the window.

Ya because all fillipinos spend there days voting on US sporting polls LOL Maybe those polls tend to reflect the mainstream boxing public which mainly belongs in America.. Do you think if all of Asia voted in those polls Floyd would get the same outcome? Don't pretend those polls mean anything.. They are probably largely (percentage wise) participated in by the US demographic. Thus the US kid winning is hardly a surprise. its why I tend to go with my own thought processes rather than mainstream mass polling done by US organisations LOL
