Oh, yeah, Jirov had a great record and was crushing people up until that fight. I think like 3 or 4 of his fights weren't KO's.

I was just speaking stylistically. Jirov was a lefty and more of a volume puncher. I think GGG has the better fundamentals and would pick his shots better against Toney. It would be a much different looking fight.

I believe he would have slaughtered the likes david gaye and Lebedev.

Guillermo Jones is the only cruiser of recent times i give a shot at givin Toney problems.
He was also a ridiculously tough freak of nature like Toney....

Oh yeah and i think Toney vs GGG plays out like Toney vs Barkley.
      Except faster and more brutal.....
      Haye would KO Toney.

Toney was a decent cruiser and I'm only saying that cos of the Jirov fight but other than that he faced trash. Haye not only has a superior resume at cruiser but also superior speed, fitness and power.

He went life and death with a shot jean mark mormeck. who was garbage in his prime. Haye avoided Jones, but then again so did many fighters...

Hayes only win of note is at heavy against Valuev and like many others I believe Haye lost that fight.

Who has Haye ever actually beaten?? I mean seriously, who??

Haye has proven MANY times he is heartless and a coward.
He has a chin comparable to khans.
And Haye NEVER had good fitness/stamina In fact at cruiserweight
Toney used to have a very high workrate. Better than Haye.

And Samul peter is a bigger puncher than haye

Toney would mongoose this weak chinned, glass toe, heartless bum...

GGG's best win....is MARTIN MURRAY....what about that can you not comprehend. Toney would have knocked that clown out in a couple rounds. GGG IS the inferior fighter Toney would be facing. He's a midget next to Toney who has taken HW punches just fine. Roy is literally thousands of times better than that bum beater. Montell Griffin alone is like 10 times the fighter Curtis Stevens is. I'd pick him to beat GGG. Eubank, Benn would all trash him. He has no hand speed and no defense....wake the fu(k up.

You are a fool, a stain on boxing fans. Go play with traffic you insufferable clown.

Resume means more than skills, but James Toney lost when he stepped up, GGG hasn't but he has the style to beat Toney.
Except GGG isn't a world class fighter...he's the guy who goes 11 rounds with MArtin Murray...

Hell no. Golovkin, and in particular Kovalev, end his career.

I think he'd beat everyone else, though.

Yes, then Jirov met the PED abusing cheat James Toney.

Going through the resume honestly If we match him against prime for prime type of opponents here are the guys I think Toney gets beat with and bare in mind I am taking the prime version of Toney that was on good PED's against natural guys...

                  Adonis Stevenson outboxes
Andre Ward outclasses him and likely clinches the living **** out of him
GGG either batters him for 12 rounds or stops him early
                  Kovalev same as above
Gilberto Ramirez a bit premature to say that but I think he could beat James Toney the PED power might be too much for Ramirez to deal with

Then who else... I've likely missed out a good few who would beat him afterall he did struggle with Dave Tiberi.

Well, this is all fantasy-matchmaking, but I agree with Ward (mainly because I HAVE to hype him up to be a GOAT talent, so Kovalev can get full credit for disposing of him with the ease that he will)

But I disagree with Adonis. Dude is ****. I'm not sure where this myth that he's some "good boxer," came from, but it used to go around a lot in 2013 when he was supposed to fight Kovalev the first time.

Adonis does not have good boxing ability, IMO. He's a one trick pony. He has one punch. His footwork is bad and he's basically a plodder. To top that off, he has absolutely no chin and I am certain prime Toney would put him to sleep.

I haven't seen too much of Ramirez, other then the Abraham fight, which was a tough fight to gauge his skill level because Abraham has absolutely zero skills and is as basic as a fighter as there possibly is.
