GGG's career high is $2m and you want to pay a guy that brings literally nothing to the table $1.5m?

I seriously doubt that HBO would go to $1m for somebody that routinely stinks out the joint

Why people asking why floyd fans making excuses for floyd for not fighting lara when floyd is in the top of the game, and p4p #1 and has far more option than ggg. GGG resume is worst than floyds 154 resume and cant get fights with anybody. GGG is either fight a boring fighter who makes u look bad (the main reason why fighters at 154 duck him) or fight goat herders and cab drivers from the street and make a spectacular knockout that makes his dumbass fan believe he is something special.

GGG should make this fight. easy work for GGG.

it gives GGG leverage and a common opponent with canelo to compare wins.

He's never been one to ask for outrageous purses. Judging from people in the media he's talked to and worked with they say he's a good person. I understand you don't like his style. I wish he was more aggressive. But don't throw those stereotypes on that man.

GGG put himself in position the mandatory position and what did it get him? The belt but not the fight. Nobody talk about GGG putting himself in mandatory positions to fight Mayweather or Froch. Canelo didn't put himself in the madatory position to fight Cotto nor did Cotto put himself in the madatory position to fight Martinez. If you don't like the man and don't like his style and don't want to see him fight GGG that's cool. But don't go making up extra rules for certain fighters that already have to work twice as hard as other fighters just to prove they're equal

This is America and all people are not created equal. Some people are born to shi.tty parents and some people are born in to the Trump family. Canelo is popular and when you're popular you can get the big fights.

Now as far as Lara goes he hasn't been a diva yet because he hasn't had to be. He's being overpaid against Haymon opposition. Not the case if he was to fight GGG. As great of a boxer as Lara is he doesn't bring in the revenue. So there is no incentive for team GGG to make the fight.

Pacquiao offered opponents the chance to fight him. The A-side has always offered the B-sides the fight. I recall GGG going after Lemieux and offering him the fight. As well as Monroe Jr. Since when do B-sides call and offer terms to fights? The Lara fight has more buzz than a Jacobs fight because Jacobs doesn't seem interested in fighting GGG. Lara is on an active media campaign to fight GGG. He did the same with Canelo and Canelo's people contacted Lara and offered him the fight. According to Loeffler he hasn't been contacted since Canelo vacated the belt. Their goal is to unify so they're almost there. If the BJS fight doesn't happen why not Lara?

            Thanks for the laugh.
Lara/DeCubas Jr certainly has a willingness to talk

Just because a couple of casual's mention his name doesn't mean we need to talk about him

does anyone actually care if we never see lara again?
He brings a degree of legitimacy to Golovkin's resume, more than he has now!

Dropped by Angulo - So was Rosado
Hasn't fought at the weight before - Neither had Rosado
Not a draw - Neither was anybody else GGG has fought
He's boring - Willie Monroe, Wade etc aren't?

His fans have to talk and do the excuse making for him. You noticed? Him & his team don't even respond to the decent opponents they let the fans do it.

All these excuses justifying why he shouldn't fight what would easily be his best opponent to date all for him to go ahead and fight some c*nt like Brian Rose.

GGG has nothing to gain from beating Lara.

I would like to see the fight though but you know those that want him to fight Lara will backtrack as soon as GGG beats him and we'll hear "well Lara was getting dropped by slow Angulo at LMW", "He already lost to Canelo" etc. etc.
