I agree, my boy Triple G needs a big name fight on his resume. Doesn't necessarily have to be Lara, but he is definitely a good option. As much as I have enjoyed watching him beat up the no hoppers, I'm dieing to see him fight someone that stands a chance at actually beating him or at least making him face some adversity. I don't doubt that he could beat Lara but Lara if he fights the perfect fight could also beat GGG.

An unproven fighter based on your sideline standards is all that much less than a fact my friend. In fact we've seen three top fighters in a row completely abandon millions in order to not face him, two HOF's in fact. Since we are going to go down this path lets paint the whole picture then because to hear some of you people talking smack you'd think these guys were trying to get the likes of butterbean instead of top fighters. Three top ten names, two future hof's, two other up and coming champions, and they even offered the king of 168 a fight when he could still make 168. That's good enough for me..I've started calling out the other names since they are the ones not wanting to fight. Jordan could not play PF or Center...i'm sorry you clearly must be too young to get why.

Because three fighters who people will bend over to vouch for on this website want no part of him. Plainly put...DON'T WANT IT! What is not done by other fighters sometimes speaks louder than the gang of you talking about he needs to prove to you. This is a sport, athletes don't have to prove jack shhh to you. Okay, maybe I mis-understood you. It seemed like you were making the excuse that he couldn't move up due to age, which is why I pointed out that many have done so, and not just when they were 17,19, 21 etc. I due agree that his resume isn't his fault, but it is what it is...weak as ****! Hopefully he will fight Lara or Jacobs next, and then set his sights on the 168lb. division. It would've been great if Ward was still there, but hindsight is 20/20!

The dude sat in limbo in europe for the first 7 years of his career, people on this site love ignoring that fact. In 4 years as a growing name he's punked his fair share of fighters who don't want anything to do with him and the only guys who want it do so for the exposure or because they genuinely think they can beat him. I respect the man because he stood his ground and in 4 years has ascended like few others at that weight division. I only wish he had been here his 11 years of boxing, perhaps he'd get the same love other olympians have gotten..some even without doing much to deserve it.
