Look, Lara isn't favored..we know...but everyone would rather "settle" for Lara than Wade... There's no excuse. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this before where fans don't want a guy with no names on his resume to fight a name? Ggg is favored against anyone... It's not just Lara. GGG should just not fight anyone he's favored against?

I prefer Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders and Eubank for GGG at the moment.

However, I would've preferred Lara over Wade and Monroe Jr.

If the fights with those middleweights can't be made then I guess a Lara fight makes sense.

Monroe -> stay busy fight (don't forget GGG fights 3 times a year so one stay busy fight is ok) with 250k purse.
Wade -> mandatory for IBF, fight him or get stripped. Purse 500k.

Suddenly Canelo fans have become huge backers of Lara, despite the fact he claims he beat Canelo.

No one who knows boxing should think Lara presents a true threat to GGG. Canelo beat Lara, GGG would too.

The only question would be how long Lara can run before going to sleep. And serious, who wants to watch Lara run from GGG for five rounds.

1. GGG gets no credit--Lara was too small.
