You're citing something from last year. I can quote Canelo few weeks ago saying he would fight GGG at 160 with no problems. Several times. Also saying he would put the gloves back on to fight GGG.. he did it after Cotto and after Khan.

If he reaches down for another Welterweight like Bradley or Vargas I think the fans are going to explode on him even more for not fighting GGG and then turning around and fighting a Smaller Guy

I would be OK with Jermall Charlo or Liam Smith as his next opponent! But he has to come down 1 lbs, make no sense of fighting either if he is not going to fight for their titles

I thought Jermall is schdeuled to fight J-Rock next??? Of course I'm sure he would drop everything to fight Canelo.

Last I looked he's in a trial right now with another promoter saying they own him. He can't fight anyone until he knows what's up. This isn't going to get wrapped up until end of June.

Fans are confused because we were all under the impression that he meant facing top talent from 154-168 inside the ring. Things often get lost in translation you know, just like ggg's fraudulent statements , we didn't know he meant he was ready to use the big names as a promotional tool for his side show circus act full of unimpressive wins over hand picked mismatches.
