Debating waiting for in play as i suspect Bellew will look pretty good first few rounds. Might be able to get a bit more value

I had a treble on this weekend. Real Madrid, Hull (both football), and Makabu to win between rounds 7-12. Think it came out around the 10/1 mark.

        2 in 1 to go.

        Praying for you brother

Reckon that could be a good shout too. I can see Bellew looking decent enough in the first 3-6 rounds or so, after that Makabu takes over. Bellew doesnt seem to have a bad enough chin that he would be blasted by one punch either

LOL idk about this. Canelo vs Khan was a bet your mortgage fight.

This is a decent enough fight to bet that for sure could look like a bet your mortgage fight if Makubu wins by KO early like he's shown he's capable of, but for me I don't like the layoff + this being one of Makubu's best opponents (his previous two best opponents, Mchunu & Kucher, both had very close fights with him) + this fight being in Bellew's hometown. I could easily see Bellew being more competitive than expected & the likelihood Bellew is getting close rounds &/or could steal a decision here is solid. If this goes to deep, which I could easily see happening here, & to a decision & Makubu hasn't been beating Bellew from pillar to post the previous 12 rounds be prepared to move out your house is all I'm saying lol.

I can't decide either really Makabu should win this by K.O all day long but frankly I see vulnerability in Makabu that even a Bellew can have very good success with.
I favour Makabu, I've bet on him but I don't think I am confident enough to bet heavier.

Makabu is very good offensively but frankly he has big holes in his game and is overrated by many & so is Mchunu tbh. He wouldn't beat the top guys. Drozd, Usyk, Breidis etc starch him at this moment in time, period.

Once Makabu gets into a groove he looks fantastic but it needs to be taken into consideration this is in the U.K, he has been stopped before, he is a slow starter - real slow, he isn't hard too hit. We have no idea if he can cut a ring off & he has bad tendencies of walking in with his hands down, dropping his opposing hands.

Bellew will start the better for sure & I wouldn't underestimate Bellews ability to stink the joint out & be negative. If he stays upright he has won.

I can't believe I'm having doubts about this. I'm probably just overthinking things.
It'll probably be Khan vs Canelo - Worrying for 3-4 rounds then the tide changes and he gets his clock wiped.

                haha.
Just curious bud, but what makes you think that bellew is not total garbage?
I don't wanna be too harsh on old Tone' but he has absolutely no business whatsoever competing at world level.

Never seen kucher fight so can't comment on him but Mchunu would SCHOOL bellew and poss even stop him from an accumulation of punches.

It's not so much that i think Makubu is a killer, it's more that i would back any half decent cruiser to beat bellew.

anyone ballsy enough to take that Czech bum to beat Price?

Price coming in at a career heavy weight of 275 pounds...+ 1.5 year lay off. + a paper mache chin.

                  14/1! for the Stoppage

Cuz he's not garbage & he's got a winning record vs half decent cruiserweights so thats a losing bet.

The only guys he's loss to are Stevenson (who's been #1 or #2 in the division for years now) & Cleverly (who he lost to fairly early in his career & when Cleverly was more seasoned than him & which he later avenged). Plus he's got a W & a draw to Chilemba who's fighting Kovalev next. He's a solid guy.

And don't get it twisted I'm not saying I'm confident Bellew is gonna win, cuz I'm not, I'm just not THAT confident Makubu is gonna win due to the factors I brought up to throw money on this fight. But like I said it COULD look like a bet your mortgage fight due to the way Makubu usually wins & cuz Bellew has been KO'd before by the other really big puncher he's fought. So I see what some of you guys are saying I'm just seeing more reasons to not bet than bet here.

Fair enough, resumes are one thing though mate.
I don't like to schit on fighters too hard but i say it how i see it
and i see bellew being a domestic/euro level fighter who got lucky breaks.

He is technically poor, he has 0 power, his chin hangs in the air and he looks like a fat pudding who's mouth is hanging wide open after round 5.
