But having Povetkin and Stiverne on his resume would've had people off his back. You don't see that out of Wilder and Povetkin, it's Wilder who catches more ****? It's as if fans are mad at Wilder for going to Russia and Povetkin failed a drug test. Yes, we shouldn't hide behind the fact that Povetkin cheated and the fight fell apart as a reason to Wilder's uneventful reign, but let's not brush that under the rug either.
Deontay Wilders "reign", the worst ever?

I think that plenty of people were angry with Povetkin and it seems even some of his own fans have abandoned him by now.But having Povetkin and Stiverne on his resume would've had people off his back. And it ****** that fight didn't happen. However, it doesn't excuse Wilder choosing bum after bum before and after Povetkin. He rushed into a crappy defense after the Povetkin fight failed. Why not choose a proper opponent and wait another month to fight him? Build up the fight as a proper world championship fight. Instead of a shot Chris Arreola. I just don't get it.
So yeah, all of '15 was filled with bum defenses that had nothing to do with Povetkin. Szpilka was another bum defense that had nothing to do with Povetkin. Arreola - Ok let's say that happened because of Povetkin - Then Wradwzyk or whatever. I mean, that was a downright ***ing joke of a fight. Washington is OK - and Wilder has had an injury. But when injured he said "I'm coming back in directly against a top contender". And now he's saying it would be ******
All I'm saying is, Povetkin is not at fault for Wilder's incredibly poor title reign. Wilder is.
FYI none of the above were mandatories. That's really saying something.Comment

He is an absolute embarrassment to the history of American HW ' champions '
He is not a champion in my eyes.
Notice how all the guy's that defend him are the same guy's that are making threads on GGG every day.
It's so ironic and even more cringe-worthy.

Maybe he should take on your big fat mommas hairy arse hole next, she's at least 71-0 by sitting that big ugly batty on guys heads. I bet she's got a VW golf hidden up there, the old batEric Molina, Malik Scott, Bermane Stiverne, and Johann Duhaupas are in the top 20 world rankings FACT..other than Klitscko theres no other HW with a better resume...that cheat Pedvetkin was going to be added to the list of names but he was exposed for the fraud he is. The 'Bronze Bomber' is on his fifth defense; I bet Tyson Fury and Juiceua get KO before they reach that mark. Wilder is cleaning up the sport and should be praised for his integrity unlike those drug abusers : Luis Ortiz, Lucas Browne and obviously Anthony Joshua...but instead we got anti-American Jealous euros hating on the TRUE HW champion of the WORLD...that holds thes REAL Title -- anything else is a replica.Comment

Wilder was in talks with Frank Warren for a fight with Tyson Fury, who declined and opted to go ahead with his fight with Christian Hammer...Glaskov pulled out of negotiations with Wilder to fight Charles Martin. Anthony Joshua was #2 in the WBC but decides to fight Charles Martin for the IBF Title, and then declined Wilder's challenge on the night of the Brazeale fight....Wilder's reign isnt as great as it should be because great opposition are straight up ducking the man.Comment

Your mum just came round, the big fat smelly old bat. I sent her packing with a can of chicken n jiblets up her hairy hole, tell her to lose some weight, my road isn't wide enough for her batty to walk down, the stinky old trout, I've seen turds in better shape.Comment

lol that's just bullcrap. Fury was mandatory to fight Klitschko and therefore had a stay busy fight. Fury offered Wilder the fight when David Haye pulled out though.Wilder was in talks with Frank Warren for a fight with Tyson Fury, who declined and opted to go ahead with his fight with Christian Hammer...Glaskov pulled out of negotiations with Wilder to fight Charles Martin. Glazkov is a bum too - What's good about that?
lol at AJ declining Wilder's challenge
He moved to fight for IBF had nothing to do with Wilder. Not once has Wilder made an offer to Fury, Klitschko or Joshua for an actual fight.
If Wilder was serious about fighting top contenders, he would. It's as simple as that.Comment

Frank Warren confirmed this himself...They were in talks but Fury opted to go ahead with his stay busy fight with Hammer. You say he was mando for Wlad...True, but you don't turn down an offer for a title, unless you believe there is a significant risk...i.e. Fury saw the Wilder fight as too risky which would have ruin his chance at Wlad...If he was sure of himself, he could have fought Wilder, winning the WBC belt and then faced Wlad in a unification bout who was then looking to reclaim his brother's belt...Fury didnt take the fight because he knew Wilder is too risky.
We all saw Wilder challenge Hearns and AJ on the night of the Brezaele fight to make that fight happen for this Winter...they declined.
So you can go ahead pretend that it didnt happen, but we all saw it happen.Comment
