We might not always agree on most things but we are inarguably fans of the sport. Can you honestly say we are actually seeing the majority of fights that should be happening? Promoters took over the sport man, too much fragmentation and political stances between networks. I'm saying almost every boxer right now is looking for a three fight deal two easy touches and one sort of mandatory.

Lara would get K'O by Golovkin, still it would be a very boring fight, Lara running on the ring for as long as the fight last's, saw the lara fight vs martirosyan, martirosyan tried to make the fight interesting and taunting Lara, and all lara did was run like it was a marathon, that kind of boxing is extremely boring, did he came to fight or run, and I understand the art of boxing, but since the viewers are the bosses if we could say that, we demand fights, we love when boxers trade and take risks, even when we all knew the khan vs canelo fight would end like that, Khan did his best and took the fight to canelo, avoiding punches here and there, still he was not running on the ring like Lara does. So I really dont think the lara fight should be done, it would be very boring and wont prove anything.

I think they are right. Let them fight so we can see how fast GGG can run a 5k

The problem with dismissing Lara is that they fought Willie Monroe Jr. But not only did they fight Willie Monroe Jr they tried to use the excuse Monroe Jr is more popular than Lara. Which is ridiculous.

You aren't wrong about that. There are a lot of problems in boxing that could use fixing.

But GGG fans shouldn't call other fighters cherry pickers then turn around and completely excuse it when he is cherry picking. All I ask is that they keep it real, apply the same standards fairly to everyone.

That's just Sanchez being a blowhard. Both are no hopers and non draws (tho Lara might be a negative draw, maybe Sanchez was right) however Lara would want 10-20x more

Why not ask for world peace rather than asking for consistency from fan boys? You might stand a better chance.

Actually, that probably goes for fixing the sports many problems too. There's too many moneyed interests putting their short term profits over the health of the sport.

This fight won't happen, but it's Lara popularity, not skill, to blame

This fight won't happen because so few even like to watch Lara fight. With two other championship bought, Lara's last fight didn't break 500k on Showtime. GGG last four have averaged well over a million.

But it's not these numbers to blame so much as it is what Lara is asking for purse wise. It's been said repeatedly, Lara doesn't command millions of dollars to fight GGG, and k2 has zero reason to dole it out to him. GGG wins, the haters who call for this fight just say he was too small.

And I think both Lara and Jacobs are showtime fighters, doubtful they are coming to HBO.

On flip side, Lara hasn't looked great against out of top ten JRMW, like his last fight.

You can't duck guy in other divisions who only recently would even be able to come to HBO, if indeed it's possible. And fights have to be profitable, and with Lara asking for $3-$6 million, it's not a fight that will happen.

If Lara would take a reasonable purse for the small fan base he has, I'd be betting k2 would consider him. 450k with two other championship fights is not gonna command you $3-$6 million. Then GGG would need $5-8. Undercard, promotions, etc. it'd have to be ppv, and that's not happening.

Funny that you're making generalizations and stereotyping whiling claiming others are being racist.

They didn't say he was ducking him. And the difference is Floyd has publicaly said GGG would be easy work, but then made excuses. GGG hasn't said Lara's name.

We know what k2/GGG are aiming for, they are not about to give Canelo an out by getting other fights negotiated.

K2 addressed this in past, Lara as currently requested, does not make financial sense. First he needs to call k2, and he needs to realize he doesn't bring enough fans to command millions of dollars.

Ouma was when GGG was relatively still a novice pro, more amatuer. And GGG had the flue that fight, he was sick.

The difference was Khan was advised by Haymon, I don't think they were signed with him. I doubt Haymon cared to stop Wade.

But if they can do it, and Lara would take a realistic purse, it may happen.

It's too bad Lara is so horrid to watch, or it may be worth fighting him.

So aiming for Canelo is cherry picking? Aiming for Suanders is cherry picking, he's a unseated world champ, and aiming for Jacobs is cherry picking.

                      That's just silly.
