I completely doubt that. Mayweather says he's bigger than boxing, but Ali transpired sports. He's one of the most famous people of the century.

Muhammad Ali and it isn't even close.

Outside of the ring Mayweather's best known for being Justin Bieber's butt buddy.

Ricky Martin and Kid Rock twice as famous as Ali and Mayweather put together? LOL that speaks for itself when it comes to the type of liar you are. Also your Alt theory was shut down long ago in the history section which makes that another lie from you.

Music stars are more famous believe me , as a matter of fact WWE wrestlers are also, Stone cold recieved more attention than anyone back stage , i could name dozens of music stars , i even was Brittney Spears stage guy one time during her rehearsal in N.Y ,to say Ali is more recognisable is simply false ,the funny thing is no one should even have a real opinion on this unless they recently met Ali ,have YOU ?I know i have back in 2013 so let that sink in JOEY/ SCOTT!

IF U REALLY think people in 2016 dont know Muhammad Ali and wouldnt react strongly to his presence then I dont know what to say...we can just agree to disagree, I suppose...

Ali by miles. It's not even close. Tyson and Lewis are still more recognisable to a main stream audience than Mayweather.

I've literally seen with my own two eyes people not respond strongly in his presence and that was 2010. I'd imagine it would be even less so now. Like I said it's not the 1980's anymore.

If we are talking RIGHT NOW if Mayweather and Ali of today were around then Mayweather would probably get more attention but that's because he's a current celebrity. However if you show a picture of a prime Ali and a prime Floyd then Ali will always be the more recognisable.

For example, in 1983 when Ali came to my hometown, thousands came out to see him. It was chaos.

When Floyd came earlier this year. Whilst a good turn out it was nothing like when Ali came.

But if Ali came today, I doubt many would turn up.

Ali has a STRONG presence...like I say, I saw him in 2012 in Mexico and the reaction to him was incredible. I believe if u advertised it right, Ali would get a strong reaction almost anywhere on earth

Your about to see the impact Ali had on this country and sports history now.
