If Canelo was under contract with All Star, he needed to be released from that contract prior to signing with GBP.
thats the issue. alvared wasn't release. this is the ol big bank take little bank assets in a illegal manner.

sure.... sure...... lets compare a standing champion vacating his title to avoid a unification fight, and arguably the biggest fight in boxing, to a couple of optional fights against non-drawing fighters in other divisions. Yah, those are the same thing. lol

How many hours a day do you have to practice to stay this ******?

While I agree he's not a ppv draw, comparing this situation to Ward/Lara is the dumbest reaching for straws I have seen on this website. You had a mandatory challenger for your WBC belt you vacated that instead...neither Lara/Golovkin/Ward would've had to vacate anything to avoid fighting or make a fight. I still don't blame Canelo although I think he fked up by doing all that shhh talking only to let Oscar make him look like a chump by veto'ing any interest he might've had in making the fight. It still stands that the critique is over vacating the most coveted of all titles in boxing in the WBC belt.

Roach just wants Canelo for Manny. That's the biggest fight they can get.

Trust me, Ward vs. Lil G is a much better/bigger fight if you actually enjoy boxing and aren't a Golovtard. How you can give Lil G a pass for the BS catchweight he threw at Ward after calling anyone from 154-168lbs I'll never understand... The guy is no different than Canelo both are business men first if you going to criticized one guy and not the other just shows how ignorant you truly are

Pac-Mayweather should hav been a trilogy. THAT would have made the most money. Not just a single fight.

Canelo vs Pac is 2 million buys

GGG said Ward wasn't a big enough draw except in Oakland. So Canelo says the same thing and GGG calls foul. Well Canelo vs Pac will at least do 2 mil PPV so I see that fight next which I've been saying for months now. I could be wrong but it's the richest fight in boxing to be made. Then Lemieux in Canada then GGG in Sept. 2017.

Its sad that the concept of "critical thinking" is lost on so many people here. First off, there never was a 164 offer sent to Ward. It was simply a comment made from Loeffler to Dan Rafael, and you idiots ran wild with it. It was never a serious offer.

And the fact that you believe that a trainer saying he thinks his guy could beat anyone from 154-168 (which myself and many other agree with) somehow magically means every single fight from 154-168 is somehow makeable, and that GGG should concede every negotiating point to the opponent no matter the economics involved, clearly illustrates that you really shouldnt be talking about topics like this. Its obviously outside your grasp.......
