People quick to criticize before checking to see what the real options are.

See notations above. The only real options are #2 Stiverne, #14 Chagaev (maybe) and #15 Washington. Personally, I have no desire to see a rematch with a rotund Stiverne.

It's not Wilder's fault there aren't better options available.

Well there are heavyweight titles that aren't really noticed much in boxing like the Fecombox and fecarbox heavyweight titles. Mexican American David Rodriguez held both of them.

This would be a sad event. A 6'6 guy running away from Eddie Chambers was awful to watch. Absolutely horrible.

He probably is chinny like the rest of yanks too.

Looking at the WBC Top 15 it Looks like slim pickings but Arreola shouldn't even be an Option. He's already beaten #2,#4,#10,#11 and #12. We all no what the deal is with #1 Povetkin. #5 Takam, #9 Jennings and #13 Chisora are coming off losses and #14 Chagaev has a mandatory against Oquendo for whatever Reason. Which Leaves #3 Pulev, #6 Parker, and #8 Haye as the best candidates. #7 Ruiz is trash IMO and #15 Washington just isn't ready IMO. But definitely no Chris Arreola.

The current WBC top-15 heavyweights reads as follows:

                  1: Alexander Povetkin
                  2: Bermane Stiverne
                  3: Kubrat Pulev
                  4: Johann Duhaupas
                  5: Carlos Takam
                  6: Joseph Parker
                  7: Andy Ruiz
                  8: David Haye
                  9: Bryant Jennings
                  10: Malik Scott
                  11: Artur Szpilka
                  12: Eric Molina
                  13: Dereck Chisora
                  14: Ruslan Chagaev
                  15: Gerald Washington

Yeah, I've seen Washington a few times and this is also my sentiment. For a big tall and athletic HW, he's overly tentative and fights 'scared.' If Washington can't stand up to Chambers' dismal offense then he's gonna have some serious issues with Wilder's firepower.

I don't like this fight at all. I could see Wilder blowing this guy out in one round with his devastating 'windmills.'

I much better opponent would be Andy Ruiz. At least Ruiz doesn't fight scared and has a decent amount of boxing skills and speed. I think he gives Wilder some good rounds before being stopped by said windmills.

Also, even Chris Arreola is a better opponent than Washington. Arreola fights aggressively and is not afraid to slug it out.

Why wouldn't Jennings be on the table?
