You're talking about the best technician, well, P4P wise, that's a different question and I kinda agree.

But you don't win fight only based on technic, otherwise, Lara would have cleaned the 154 division by now.

Power, strenght and intangibles count a lot in ATG fights.
Not saying Floyd is bad regarding those assets.

My point is Leonard, Hagler and Hearns are better fighters than Floyd, and this because they would have beat him IMO(at 147 and 160 for Hagler).
P4P you can make a case about Floyd being better than them.

Floyd ATG level stops at 135/140, he fought weak oppostion at 147 and 154 compared to the 80s. And IMO Floyd would lose to most 147 ATGs.

Ortiz, Baldomir, Bruseless, Berto, Guerrero are some GGG's mandos level opposition as 147 has been overrated and overhyped for a decade, those guys are average and would get beat at 154, murdered at 160 altough 160 is weak.

Hatton, Maidana, lil Marquez weren't some A class opposition neither (at that weight for Marquez)

Regarding his best wins above 140:
What Pacquiao who is a career featherweight, Oldsley, Nelo Alvarez at 152 and a past it Cotto at 154 tell us about his abilities to compete with Duran, let alone Leonard.

    I just dunno.

I think Floyd lacks power above 140 to compete with ATG from those divisions.

bro stop.....just stop....dont disrespect Berto , Baldomir, Guerrero and Ortiz like that...these dudes fought in big fights, won some and lost some and actually won major world titles and beat world titleholders......they are levels over friggin no names Ishida, Monroe, and Wade.

Bruseles on the other hand I agree with you but be realistic.

I know it sucks be a big CAN MAN fan but dont go reaching so far just to crap on mayweathers resume

that was one of the dumbest posts I ve seen in a long time

I read the whole exchange. You ******ly brought up TKO wins as some sort of way of proving that it is a more decisive method of victory.

      That is ******.

After Pacquaio was knocked out by Marquez you bet it means nothing than add the IV scandal in which anyone one with a brain know why it was used

Now, you obviously are the ****** one unable to admit you are wrong like a little kid.

And you're being a liar trying to prove your point.

"You ******ly brought up TKO wins as some sort of way of proving that it is a more decisive method of victory."
              More decisive than what?

              Again I never said that.

But a TKO like the one Leonard put on Hearns or Duran is more decisive than any controversial decision.

There are right TKOs, and controversial TKOs just like there are right decisions and controversial decisions.

The Duran and Hearns TKOs aren't controversial, Mayweather's win over Castillo in their first fight was controversial.

That's just facts that you can't ignore.

                • First of all, Mayweather's natural talents, physical attributes, boxing pedigree, ring IQ and honed skills are not only equal to the Fearsome Foursome of Leonard, Hearns, Duran and Hagler but in some areas, Mayweather is superior. Yes all 4 of the Foursome were naturally larger than Mayweather so a power advantage is a reasonable assumption, but we cannot forget that due to no same day weigh-ins, Mayweather is used to facing 160-170 pound opponents on fight night. Love, like or hate Mayweather, it can't be denied that Mayweather excels at negating the offense of his opponents and all 4 of the Fearsome Foursome's success was built on offense.
                  Great fantasy match ups.

he hated them so much he won his first world title vs. 5'10" genaro hernandez.....beat the other top 130er Corrales who was 6'......defended the lightweight title vs Phillip Ndo who was 5'10"....and beat DLH who is 5'10"

Leonard is the naturally bigger man but people always do welterweight fantasy discussions because their arent many fighters that they think can beat floyd at his natural and best weights of 130-140

Berto, Ortiz, Guerrero and Baldomir are C fighters to me.

                      What big fights?
So Baldomir is one of the 10 guys who beat the great Judah?
Ortiz and Berto beat each others? And?
Guerrero is great because he beat Katsidis and the mentioned above Berto?

147 has been overrated as the best division because of Floyd and Pacquiao fighting there.

Without Floyd and Pacquiao, this division woulda been trash.

Floyd and Manny had an easier time at 147 than any division.
They fested on bums like Algieri, Berto, Ortiz on shot fighters like Mosley and DLH.
