kell brook is living proof that boxing is mostly about PR/hype an what you do in the ring means very little

he inherited a shallow division that formerly had the world's eyes on it but he has a resume worse than many journeymen

he's "#1" but people are in disbelief that he might be fighting someone we've heard of -- utter disbelief

What about the Vargas kid? He's a straight forward type guy, seems to over rated imo.

lol, Vargas has barely been going straight forward his last 2 fights, before he was trained by Cubans and tried to be more of a fighter that fights off his back foot which is why he has a low KO percentage. Since he has been coming forward, he found his grove and he mixes with well with boxing skill, his jab and 1-2 is real nice and his speed is pretty good too!

Your last fight was in July last year against semi-retired Collazo. You had plenty of time to make the Brook fight. You didn't even try.

Khan replaced him actually in 2014 march without fighting ANY contender! My point being Khan should not be mentioned with ANY of the top guys and in the rankings should be around 12 as he's fought...NOBODY!

Get on Kell and thurman and the new guy's these are the future Khan is done has been for ages.

I can't put Kell at #1 at welterweight, there just has to be some sort of time limit you can live off of 1 win, that Porter fight was 2 years ago. IMO there is no top guy in the division, all these guys need to fight for that spot

Really? You know it's not off of just a win over one guy. It's for making a P4P type fighter look ordinary, it's for having a division shook with nobody wanting to fight him, they also factor in his Olympic pedigree. Brook has none of that on his side
