You are a scumbag, because he uses weights on Steroids, How old you by the way, you dont have knowledge, so let me guess he has somebody taking his drug test since the Olympices and Eddy Hearns pays Vada to keep quiet

YOU STILL BELIVE TUPAC IS ALIVE AS WELL

    Must be American
I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm in my early twenties. So no, I'm nether American or ridiculously young.

No, him using weights has nothing to do with him taking steroids. I lift weights and I don't use steroids.

And I'm doing A-levels in Biology, PE and other things because I want to be a sports doctor. So I assure you that I do have knowledge when it comes to sports and PEDs.

No, it's extremely easy to beat a drug test. You simply counter-act what shows up in the test. Say you take "A" and they test A by checking the ratio of "A" - "B" you simply take "B" until A and B have equal ratios.

People resent the fact that Joshua has benefited hugely from a massive PR / hype campaign without actually really proving much in the ring.

He also has no real personality - he is fed scripts by Matchroom which comes across very manufactured and dull.

In addition, he is not a 'natural' boxer inasmuch that he is an athlete who learned to box, in much the same way Wilder did.

Finally is probably on a huge stack of roids.
      Fully agree.

Heard he has a kid he doesn't support or see, he clearly isn't the role model Hearn makes out, it's all very cheesy and manufactured.

I'm simply stating why some people such as myself dislike (or hate) Anthony Joshua because it's pretty obvious that he's using gear by his physique. I know Arnold is a lot shorter than Anthony Joshua but seriously.. Arnold was probably using 10-20 times the hormones of a normal man, it's just ridiculous to claim that Anthony Joshua is that size naturally. There's some people who are genitically gifted who could get close but we're talking 15-20 years of work. Not something that you have in your early twenties.

And of course, if your mate's a bodybuilder and you're a boxer you're going to be able to wreck him. Bodybuilding is a terrible build for boxing, you need fat to surround your organs otherwise what you said will happen. You also need to know how to take a punch.

I don't hate Joshua, hell I'd love to be in his position but I think it's ridiculously unfair for someone fighting him. You're basically going into the ring with the intention of hurting the other person so bad that they can't continue to fight you and it's a risk to anyone's life to fight someone who's using PEDs. They hit harder, faster and they last longer.
No steroids don't make you hit harder silly man....power is natural and some are gifted with it....there are also different types of steroids and some are for conditioning and stamina and not just for muscle growth....mayweather fights the same in the 12th round as he does in the 1st and are you telling me that natural ? And that's considering that every great boxer before him were all way past there prime at 38.....Leonard, Robinson,Ali all of them were washed up at that age so why is mayweather different ? ......there's a big can of worms to open up if we talk about steroids with all athletes

Firstly you're getting steroids mixed up with PEDs.

Secondly, power is not natural. Power is dependant on your weight and amount of muscle. Some people have the ability to get that muscle and weight better than others but there's a limit. I guarentee you that if you starved any professional boxer down to a weight that would be unhealthy, anyone would be stronger than them. Big punchers like Mike Tyson would not be so powerful if they didn't weigh 100+ KG. We have weight classes in boxing for a reason.

Steroids don't increase strength? I wont say the name incase it's against the rules but we'll call it "X"

The primary effects of "X" revolve around strength and aggression. The issue of aggression and steroids is often blown out of proportion, but in the case of "X" it truly can enhance an aggressive nature. This in turn can cause the athlete to push harder and be even stronger. While it can enhance aggression there are some important things to keep in mind. Aggression in of itself is not a bad thing, it can be a very positive tool; what we do with aggression determines if it’s right or wrong.
This is the main type that boxers and MMA fights would use. You being an experienced boxer must realise how ridiculous this is, you can literally make yourself so angry that it's near impossible for you to be knocked out and you'll be almost twice as strong as before. Some people don't actually realise how crazy steroids are.

Plunger making an absolute moron of himself again.

"Olympic testing, meh" , 36 athletes failed from RETESTS from 2008 recently lol

"Steroids don't make you punch harder" said no one ever. apparently it's all about technique and steroids can't be added to that technique

What the hell are you Plunger????

Doesn't matter what style of boxer you are, KO artist, pugilist, Mexican slugger people are gonna hate. . . Just goes to show even if Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler and all those were doing it today they'd be getting hate too.

Seems the only time someone gets respect is when they end up in hospital.

Well, I've been boxing since I was twelve so I know my stuff.

Steroids do make you punch harder. Don't twist my words, I'm not saying that if I take steroids I'll be like Mike Tyson. I'm saying if you were to give Mike Tyson steroids and compare how hard he punches before and after, the results would be ridiculous. It will definately make you stronger and be able to punch harder. How hard you punch is also dependent on your technique and more importantly, your speed. They make you faster, therefore you hit harder (Force = Mass x Acceleration)

You're simply comparing fighting styles now. Ali was focused on speed and stamina and he prefered to dodge punches rather than block them. George Foreman as he said himself "I would just swing and even if I didn't hit people, they'd still go down" refering to how hard he could punch.

As I said above, you will punch faster. Therefore, you will punch harder no matter what.

As Vinnykin said, you add the steroids to the technique and if you don't have the technique, you'll still be extremely powerful and hard to knock out.
