We don't see it happening because of politics/money issues. We already explained. Lara probably wants PPV worth money, and he's not bringing any fans. GGG is not a big PPV star yet but he's much more popular and fan friendly than Lara.

Unless Lara accepts 500k or so, the fight is not happening. 1 million top. THAT is the issue. Of course we WANT GGG to face Lara, instead of Monroe or Wade... but Monroe and Wade accepted 250-500k for it. Not sure Lara would accept that kind of money.

There isn't any backlash. Most fans would be happy with a lara fight if Canelo and Saunders fall through. I get the agendas people wanting to find somebody they can say GGG doesn't want to fight or whatever but this is pretty weak. If those fights fall through then yeah bring on lara ... why not? I think that's the view of most non-hater boxing fans.

You stated most of it in your opening post. Lara would not win, he would run and try to survive. There is no other outcome. We all know it. Yes it's a good name on your resume. Why would you want to see that? We can only hope that Lara makes it 12 to exploit some type of weakness. F.o.h

Lara is arguably the best guy at 154 rankings and resume wise. He shouldn't need to bean any contender in an already diluted division, tbh.
