lets be real, Garcia has faced far better competition and when you do, you wont be as dominant as you are facing top guys.

If Garcia was fighting dominic wade types on the regular at 140-147 instead of champions/former champions like Guerrero, khan, peterson, matthyssee(elite 140ers) he'd look like a monster. Wade is the equivalent of beating demarcus corley, soto karass or gatekeeper level opponents.

GGG fights guys like Monroe regularly but lose their mind when Garcia fought a former champion in robert guerrero?

sometimes people expect more out of fighters they arent fans of and dont expect the most out of fighters they like

if they were the same size I'd favor Garcia and this is why.

He has a proven chin and Matthyssee's power is like a 140er GGG. He has shown he came come from behind and win like his win over Khan.

He has shown in fights that he can stand and fight, or counter and fight side to side and going back. As a young un, beat a past prime morales and in his biggest fight vs Matthyssee he boxed enough yet earned their respect

He knows how to win. GGG hasnt had to face all those styles at the top level like Garcia has so its not safe to assume. Thats why their are upsets in boxing. people dont analyze both fighters strengths and weaknesses. they look at aesthetic stuff but dont look at the fighters competition. anyone can look like the next coming vs 2nd tier opposition

A fighter like GGG has to be forced back and countered when he comes forward. Garcia has good power and is a natural counter puncher. Also he isnt a runner so he will gain your respect, which is why no on tries to bull doze him. Also he has movement just enough to wear he will force GGG to cut off the ring and counter when he gets in range.

If they were the same size this fight would be awesome.
    Very well stated.

Resumes are given too little credit. Guys like Golovkin and Joe Louis, who have beaten no one, is called ATGs merely for beating a lot of guys in a row...

Eubank and Andy Lee would not be the best wins on Golovkin's resume.

Resumes matter greatly. Andre Berto looked like a world beater against crap competition, yet he couldn't even handle Victor Ortiz. That's true of a huge number of fighters. You don't know how good a fighter truly is until they fight other fighters worth a damn.

They would easily be his best wins.

One of the problems with resumes is some fans don't give the resume an accurate and fair evaluation. You are one of them. You say Eubanks and Lee would be GGG's best wins if he had defeated them. Eubanks is certainly not a more highly regarded or highly rated fighter than Murray and champion Lemieux were at the time GGG fought them or even right now. You seem to forget or deliberately leave out the fact that Saunders just barely edged out Eubanks and Lee while GGG destroyed and KOed Lemieux and Murray without losing a single round. How a boxer wins his fights is just as important or more so to the quality of his resume as who he beat. Pound for pound ratings are opinion based and can't be proven. Most experts and respected fighter rating places do have Canelo in the top 5 pound for pound boxers in the world. They know exactly who Canelo fought just like you do. Just because their opinion isn't the same as yours doesn't make them wrong and you right. Canelo is on all the top 10 pound for pound lists while Lara is on almost none of them. Canelo has improved a lot since his fight with Lara while Lara is still the same. Lara showed last weekend when he struggle with and ran from Vanes that he is not as good as Canelo. I don't think Canelo would have any problem beating Vanes and KOing him. I agree with some of what you said but certainly not all of it. I think you are forcing your opinion of certain fighters on us.

I was with you until I saw joe louis...I think it was by design

Bum of the month was a myth. He literally cleaned out the division and beat every former champion that was active before him.

Max Baer was a bad MFer as was his brother buddy baer, so was Jersey Joe Walcott, Jimmy Bivins is an all time great and part of black murderers row, Billy conn is a hall of famer.

He defeated 8 world champions when there was only one.....The brown bomber cleaned out his division, he was handed no belt

You are as far away from being a boxing expert as it is possible to be. You are always wrong and never right. Joe Louis is an all time great in the opinion of all experts and 99% of boxing fans. He held the undisputed world heavyweight title longer than anyone and defended it successfully a record 25 times. He beat every good heavyweight there was to beat and duck nobody, He fought them all and beat them all. GGG has defeated more top 10 middleweights than other two middleweights combined. He would have beaten more top middleweights if they had the courage to fight him.
