I said this would happen over the weekend.

The diva dropped the belt so he could try a catchweight on GGG. GGG should just walk away from the table because as soon as other interested middleweights try to fight the diva at 160 and one of those fights happen, the diva has no leg to stand on regarding a catchweight.

It's only around the corner that the diva won't even be able to make 155 anymore and will be forced to fight at 160.

This is so true it is unreal to contemplate the chances of GBP not thinking of it.

Of course, I as well as tons of other fans still want the fight, it is an important fight...I am not saying GGG should totally wipe his hands of the idea...But for now, as you said, as time passes Canelo looks worse and worse, if you can believe it.

GGG wants him at 160. Lemeuix wants him at 160...Matter of time before other names start to say they want him at 160 too...He will simply HAVE to fight at 160 or concede and surrender even more of his honour and pride and accept the 160 weigh in or drop his lineal claim. It is a matter of time before that concept becomes a real decision.

If he doesn't want to fight at 160 or even discuss it for now, then let the time prove that Canelo is acting like a total dishonourable farce as more and more fighters/fans call for this type of thing.

Ironic...He tried to create a gap in the weight classes and become a weight bully, but it has backfired tenfold in recent times to the point where he will become the bullied - Concede even more than you already have (lineal title as well as WBC title) or accept the justifiable weight demand that opponents and fans want.

He tried to create a limbo in weight, pretty soon he will be left there and won't get out unless he gives in. What goes around comes around.

If he fights all those guys at 154, then there will be less social media backlash. But if he continues at 155, then there will be no end to his twitter page blowing up. I would prefer to see it first. I am of the group that believes that 155 is as low as Canelo's body will allow. Boxing is not here to accommodate a boxer for whatever his body is willing to do at the specific time that he wants a fight...that's not how boxing works. And I already named all the 154 champions as the best back-up plan for Canelo if he doesn't want to campaign at 160. I'll throw J-rock in there too. Canelo's pickings are slim if he wants to continue at 155 & not get any social media backlash. Have you not seen Canelo's twitter page?

Too bad Lemieux won't accept a 155 CW...or probably more correctly, his body can't melt down to 155. It's lemieux at 160, or look for other options.
