Why wouldn't you? Floyd did it too you cant blame Conor for doing it, its smart for him to try. Without Floyd he will still earn his 7 million in UFC, Floyd is the one who needs Conor and has been chasing him saying ill only come out for McGregor.
It's not just that it's a big Money fight. I don't think that's what motivates Floyd.

He can generate big Money fights against other boxers as well, but those are more risky fights. Clearly, Floyd is done with taking anymore risks at the age of 40.

But fighting opponents who are not in the sport of Boxing doesn't seem to be a risk to him. Which is correct. If McGregor can't kick and he can't slam his ass on the ground, he is harmless and will get boxed and elbowed during the clinches, on to a unanimous decision, if not a TKO.

      I would have thought so.

But now given his whole persona is about money, i'm sure he wouldn't fight now unless he was making substantially more money than his opponent.

I was actually surprised he agreed to a 60-40 split with Pacquiao, i thought he would want more than 60%, but i suppose that 60% was already an insane amount that he could be ok agreeing to that split to get the fight made and make that huge 60%.

Im a fan of conor but hes wrong. Floyd is the A side, hes the one whos made close to 1 billion in his career, hes the one who broke all PPV records. Conor would get paid more than in any UFC fight if he fought floyd. Problem is dana wont let him do that because hes in charge of what money conor gets. Dana wont let conor fight in boxing without recieving a cut.

Conor works for a promoter, he isn't even in control in his own sport.

The $50M offer by Mr.550K is beyond laughable. It's as bad as the offer he gave to Pacquiao back in 2012.

Here's the reality. McGregor's last fight did 1.2-1.4M buys, Mayweather's last fight did 550K.

McGregor should get at least a 50/50 split if they do a PPV because he's going to be bringing in more fans.

Come on man dont you know little things like, truth and facts don't bother some people? This dude is talking out his but hole. Connor called floyd out on several occasions. But that dont matter to hectari. In his world floyd is begging Connor to fight and they are on equal grounds. ?......?
