You know people will poop on opponents names when GGG has a chance to fight them, they'd be saying the same thing about everyone at 168 and 175 If Golovkin was up there.

If Lara was serious, he'd move up to 160 and at least get used to the weight a little. He's either just saying the name or attention, or for a payout. Last time I think he was asking for $3 million? How much did he get for this fight?

I think GGG has BJS for September, his Heiland mandatory in December unless someone better/more interesting (Lara?) beats him, then I see Jacobs after that.

you clearly don't even watch lara or golovkin fight if you think it's likely that they go 12 rounds and it is close.

lara legitimately still has vanes problems. that fight last night was close.

golovkin fans aren't "scared of lara." he's in the wrong division for golovkin to be ducking him . it's not like lara wants him to move down. he wants to move up. but he.. isn't moving up.

if he wants to fight at 160 he's more than welcome to do it. i don't think anybody would cry too much if lara gets matchwd with golovkin. golovkin can't get the best fighters in the division to fight him anyway. better than willie wade junior, or whatever he calls himseflf

        lara stays at 154
        calls out golovkin
and it's somehow golovkin's fault that the fight doesn't go down?

if he's really asking for 3 million it would have to be a ppv fight. that's basically sayinng "i don't want to fight."

that's much, much higher than HBO can afford to pay for a championship boxing broadcast.

I've wanted Lara/GGG for the past 2 years, but after watching Lara finally fight another JMW again I've lost some interest. He gets murked bad by GGG. If Golovkin lands those hooks to the body that Vanes was getting in, Lara will literally poop himself and fold like a chair.

Lara fights in spots, but with Golovkin he'll be burning so much more energy because of Golovkin's footwork, cutting him off and forcing him to fight. Lara is fun to watch when you corner him, but he lacks the power to consistently get GGG off him.

If Golovkin can't get Jacobs or Saunders next, Lara would be a good exhibition fight in San Antonio.

he would crush eubank, n'dam, heiland and khurtsidze too. lara has a better name than them and would provide a direct point of comparison with canelo. he's the best option after saunders and jacobs

He made less than that to fight Zaveck. He made $1mill for Rodriguez, but he also made $1mill vs Alvarez. And that's a problem. Nobodies paying Lara $1.5mill to fight Golovkin.

WBA should announce Jacobs as their mandatory next week. So BJS or Jacobs in September or December, the WBC mando and then IBF mando then WBO mando. #2 WBA just lost to a landscaper so they srewed.

And if Lara shells up like this and lets Golovkin rip bodyshots, it would be over in 4.
Lara will let his hands go if you pressure and corner him. I'd like to see the fight because it would be fun and I think his speed could trouble GGG. Lara needs a dance partner to make him fight and GGG is the best dance partner because he would take the fight to him. I don't think Lara wins but he would put on a good performance and it would be a very good fight for as long as it lasts.
