So what's a fair price to pay Saunders or Jacobs?

Yeah he has the same leverage GGG had on Canelo, that looming purse bid...that would suck if Jacobs team won't sit down and at least try to hammer a deal out with K2 before the bid...would GGG drop the title in lieu of fighting off HBO? That would blow.Lemieux had leverage - he had a belt. Jacobs has nothing. The fight was also on PPV.
As for Jacobs being more known, that's heavily arguable. For example, Google disagrees with you:
Google Trends Lemieux vs. Jacobs
Jacobs' only chance is to hope that Golovkin can't fight off HBO, and basically blackmail him.Comment

I think something you're overlooking with reasonable #'s is GGG's purse. GGG is only getting $2M per fight himself. And he's the A side at this point vs everyone at 160 except Canelo still. So either he's gonna need to have HBO throw more money his way or these guys are gonna be getting $1M-2Mish.
And BJS has already implied $6M is his number so there isn't a number to even get him involved unless he kidnaps Canelo & dresses up like him on fight night.
This is the ****ty catch 22 for GGG. He's not making huge purses so no bigger names will fight him & he can't get huge purses cuz he's got no big names on his resume.Comment

We'll if you're gonna compare now I would assume Lemiuex would be hotter considering he just fought on the Canelo undercard and nobody has heard from Jacobs in 8 months lol... They paid Lemeuix that money when he was unknown to basically anyone outside of us hard cores .Lemieux had leverage - he had a belt. Jacobs has nothing. The fight was also on PPV.

I think Tom Loeffler disagrees with youLemieux had leverage - he had a belt. Jacobs has nothing. The fight was also on PPV.

Tom thinks Jacobs vs GGG is massive in NYC and bigger than GGG - Pepe La PewComment

Google Trends is not the end-of-it-all measurement of popularity, although it's pretty damn good. But the beauty of that app is that it shows you popularity over time. Change the timeline (on top) to last 12 months. The Quillin/Jacobs interest resulted in a slight bump, which was the same as interest in Lemieux before Oct15. If you look at the period when neither was fighting, Lemieux is more popular than Jacobs. We'll if you're gonna compare now I would assume Lemiuex would be hotter considering he just fought on the Canelo undercard and nobody has heard from Jacobs in 8 months lol... Show me where?
Loeffler has not publicly turned down any fight. He does his job by making every fight sound awesome.
As a recent example, when Kell Brook said he'll fight Golovkin, Golovkin said that he's not fighting Brook because he's too small

While Loeffler was all about the fight

And the irony is that Loeffler's statement came 4 days AFTER Golovkin.
There have been examples of this all over. For example, Golovkin has said that a fight with Chavez Jr is not serious, while Loeffler kept talking about it. Same thing with Ward - even after Golovkin said "you're dead to me", Loeffler still kept saying they would be interested in a fight with Ward.
Even OnePunch was saying a few days ago that he's tired of Loeffler's nice guy attitude.Comment

“Being able to make this fight with Wade, if (Golovkin is) successful, then certainly a fight with Danny Jacobs, who is clearly at the top also of the middleweight division – he had a very impressive knockout of Peter Quillin,” Loeffler told ******.com. “And Gennady being able to sell out (Madison Square Garden) in his last fight – you can only imagine how big a fight between Gennady and Jacobs would be in New York. That would be a monster fight in the New York area. From our side, there wouldn’t be any obstacles to making that fight.”
