If you convert the £2.2M to $US, you will see that it is in excess if $3M US. This figure was reported by several sources and not disputed by Saunders for months.

So, a Canelo/Lemieux fight would put up super-FAIL numbers without GGG? We already know that. You are seriously underestimating the impact of handing the belt over to his rival will have on Canelo's popularity. How much can he actually sell if his next fight isn't against his mandatory?...how much can he actually sell if he doesn't fight his next fight at 154 (Canelo: I'm not a middleweight)?
