A lot of room for improvement but also answered a lot of questions.
Can not fault his heart or chin that is for sure.

Got JP scraping it. Good learning experience.

That fight was better for his career then every single previous fight he has had! Takam is a better opponent than either Joshua or Whyte or Hughie Fury have faced in my opinion. And unless there is abut to be a robbery, he passed!
joshua puts parker sleep under 5 doe.

This uk fans are so pathetic bro.

Impressive win by Parker. First step up fight and showed he could take shots and dig deep when it mattered. That 8th round he showed he had heart. Everytime Takam would come on Parker would land just enough to keep him of of him. I was very impressed with his chin and his intelligence to do what it takes to win the fight.

Footwork and speed were well below world class. But his chin is pretty granite. His power fades as the fight progresses, which doesn't bode well for him against the better conditioned heavies. Takam is known to gas out as well, like he did tonight. Sloppy fight on both ends but for Parker it can be forgiven as he is a 24 year old youngster who is learning on the job, and fighting a very serious opponent.

after round 8 or so i expected parker to hit the deck at some point out of pure exhaustion and i'm really impressed that he regained control and stayed on his feet the whole fight

Takam woud've tested Joshua in a way we've never seen. If Whyte was able to rock Joshua, Takam would've gave him some even more serious problems.

This was Parker's first big step up and he passed well enough that he'll improve from it.

That scoring was decent considering it was in Parker's backyard.

Good win for Parker. Didn't look like the future of the division like some were making out but an important learning fight. I hope he doesn't go back to fighting cans after a few scares in there tonight.
