I know I'm right. What you GGG fans fail to acknowledge is the double standards..Canelo has taken more risk in Trout , Lara, Mayweather, Cotto and moved up in weight at such a young age but this old euro cant be reminded of claims that came out of his own mouth talking about wanting to fight this guy or that guy at catchweights but now all of sudden you all don't remember that and use Canelo as a scapegoat.

haha it's funny watching these Canelo fans who've been hating on Golovkin for months try to come with some sort of logical way to diss Golovkin now. Oh he overplayed his hand, yeah, that's the ticket! Let's go with that! He tried to fight his mandatory and even gave the guy an extension, yep that's overplaying his hand alright!

And I doubt this will greatly harm Canelo's overall popularity one bit.

As long as he can spin it as a negotiation problem, some folks will buy it.

Meanwhile, he can keep fighting at 154 or 155 or even try certain 160 lb guys.

As long as he keeps winning, folks will support him, especially his countrymen.
Many of her fans are already turning on her. It's supposed to get better when she says "GGG priced himself out of the fight" when the world already knows she vacated her title straight up?

HAha, no......it's only going to go downhill in record time, especially if her next fight is against another WW moving up. She has all but backed herself into a corner.

its damn time for GGG to at least fight a live in prime, noteworthy opponent if he cant get the canelo fights.

NO MORE DWYANE WADEs who just came to collect a paycheck and fought scared. its time for GGG to test himself. He beats jacobs it puts more pressure on canelo to fight him.

If he fights somebody lesser, it gives canelo a better standing with the fight fans and press by picking somebody else other than GGG.
                  Totally agree.

With the Canelo fight off the table and Saunders likely to price himself out of something that makes sense, Jacobs is the logic choice.

And, Jacobs actually REALLY wants the fight too.

The only thing that will foul it up is if HBO tries to freeze out Haymon, which is a lots less likely these days.

Curious how we know this? I haven't seen or heard anything from Jacobs since this all went down...
