1) Sanchez said it not Golovkin. Golovkin did say he would go down to 154 for Floyd but Ward said he would go down to 160 for Floyd. So no that is not a reason for them to fight.

2) It took Golovkin 18 months to out earn Ward. Fact is Golovkin now gets more than Ward per fight. If this was 3 years ago when HBO tried to make the fight then maybe you would have a leg to stand on.

3) Yes Ward won Gold. Golovkin won Silver. But take a look at the Brackets and there are more current pros than in Wards. There isnt 1 who turned pro in Wards Bracket while there are 4 in Golovkins. Much easier.
