Lol at these answers. People are saying it's ok because ward and Lara weren't middleweights but I guarantee every single one of these people have said Floyd ducked Golovkin before. Who is going to be honest and admit their contradictory ******ity?

Does anyone know if Lara was willing to fight at the full 160 or meet at a catchweight?

Ward ducked the GGG fight when it was offered in 2013 by HBO.

Ward sent a hoax offer minutes after GGG announced his next fights/plans.

Does your brain grasp who is ducking who?

LMAO, no.....just a mandatory, like GGG was to the diva when he vacated his belt to duck the real champ.

                  Lara:

                  Post Ishe Smith win:
After the fight Lara said “I want to fight Floyd Mayweather. He’s one of the best.”
As good as this fight would be, it’s not likely that Mayweather is going to agree to fight Lara because he’s bigger than Mayweather and it’s a fight that likely wouldn’t sell.
                  Post Delvin Rodriguez win:
“I’m going to sit down with my team and Al (Haymon). The future is clear. We want the best. We want Floyd Mayweather. We want Miguel Cotto. We want Gennady Golovkin at 160 lbs.”
So Floyd fights ODLH, Cotto, and Canelo at JMW, but doesn't ever mention or say anything about Lara? Yet, here you guys are chit-talking GGG about not fighting Ward or Lara (despite him agreeing to fighting Ward in 2013 and Ward saying no), because he was also wanting to fight Carl Froch and JCC Jr. at 168.

                  God damn hypocrites.

The only time FMJr fought a bigger man with a longer reach was vs. ODLH -- who actually offered that PPV fight.
FMJr should have fought Lara in his last fight -- he didn't, of course...

Earning potential has nothing to do with the question.
