Hearn needs to pay out to get Brook this fight or suck it up and travel. Brook is not a draw with only the IBF belt. He NEEDS to take out another belt holder and be known as the No1 unified champ before any one will agree to fight him for fair money.

I guarantee they will look at the crowds at U.K fights and instantly want double or triple the money before even considering travelling, especially someone as good as Brook

Vargas is basically coming to the UK to get his belt taken for 500k or less, is it worth it?

Should he hold out and wait for a Pacman? or Bradley?
Vargas manager is the one telling him it's ****** to turn down the fight. This is Cameron Dunkin, not some run of the mill 2nd rate manager like Michael Koncz. His manager is telling him to take the fight because there's nothing over here going on for him. But I'm sure Frankie Bruno knows more than Cameron Dunkin

What other niche sport over there is doing 350,000 PPV's? Or doing 3 million views for an event on a comedy channel?

Cameron Dunkin wants to get paid just like Koncz

Vargas could hold out, fight a few scrubs and then walk into a fight which pays the same amount

He has a title, and is with Top Rank.

Either way he doesnt walk away with a million, he'll also lose his title to Brook.

Kell Brooks stock has fallen big time

His last fight didnt sell out, they were giving tickets away for free. This was in his own hometown.

Eddie is charging an arm and a leg for Jousha tickets, which sell out within 3 days, on top of that all the PPV money they make

Kell Brooks stock continues to fall, his best option is to move up and have a domestic dust Up with Liam Smith, for a title. This may lure Canelo in and Brook will earn his big payday.

On the one hand you say that Kell Brook's fights dont sell, on the other you say that they need to pay Vargas a lot more

I didnt realize that Eddie Hearn was a charity willing to take a loss on a fight just so that Vargas can walk around calling himself a millionaire.

Sorry but this is nothing but a duck

I am saying they need to pay Vargas the same amount as Martin, because he HAS A TITLE.

Brook wants to become a unified champ? well Hearn will have to pay for it

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices and take one for the team, it'll all pay off in the long run

Well, to be fair, it would take a miracle worker to sell a fight against Bizier. Joshua is riding a wave just now and has struck lucky with the casual audience while Brook has had one notable fight in the U.S that many in the U.K didn't even watch, even that wasn't a defining fight or a big draw. His chance to build momentum has disappeared after nearly 2 years with no other notable fights. Hearn needs to take a loss to make a gain in this scenario. Breaking even on a show, Brook taking a small cut in any U.K fight or travelling for a 50/50 split are his only options. I don't think Liam Smith is worth anything, not a big enough name and the American audience won't care
