Vargas turned down $1.61 Mil to fight Brook

Thats what i am sayingWell, to be fair, it would take a miracle worker to sell a fight against Bizier. Joshua is riding a wave just now and has struck lucky with the casual audience while Brook has had one notable fight in the U.S that many in the U.K didn't even watch, even that wasn't a defining fight or a big draw. His chance to build momentum has disappeared after nearly 2 years with no other notable fights. Hearn needs to take a loss to make a gain in this scenario. Breaking even on a show, Brook taking a small cut in any U.K fight or travelling for a 50/50 split are his only options. I don't think Liam Smith is worth anything, not a big enough name and the American audience won't careComment

That's a good offer but the problem is Hearn and Brook are the ones under pressure, they have to make a big fight now after all the talk. They can't be seen to be fighting another brazier, they would either have to upped their offer or go with another big name or go to America and fight Vargas with the same offer.Comment

No no FrankieBruno of boxingscene, the khanturd knows better than Cameron DunkinVargas manager is the one telling him it's ****** to turn down the fight. This is Cameron Dunkin, not some run of the mill 2nd rate manager like Michael Koncz. His manager is telling him to take the fight because there's nothing over here going on for him. But I'm sure Frankie Bruno knows more than Cameron Dunkin

Listen, why the hell would anyone pay income tax in a country you don't reside in? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The U.S and UK have a trade treaty, they will probably have some kind of withholding tax but under no circumstances would you EVER be double taxed - And you would still have to file that income in the U.S.
So no, a U.S fighter WOULD NOT have to pay full income tax in the UK.Comment
