With the opposition GGG has had anyone will look as good as GGG. He's an illusion until he fights Canelo. Lemeuix has been his best opponent and was KO'd by Rubio 4 yrs prior to his defeat to GGG.

Well.. GGG is ruling the division, but there have been others. Recently Wlad and Rigo come to mind.

whilst GGG is a GUN no doubt, Kostya Tszyu fought and KTFO the other champions in his division. The F in KTFO is what I call dominate.

Now I'm not saying GGG cannot do that, but unfortunately he hasn't had the luck to do that as no other champs will fight him.

Rigondeaux totally dominated his division to a point that no other champion would fight him, but all opted to relinquish the belt to save them from having a 'loss and totally outclassed' blemish on their record.

As far as fighters fighting to build legacies, that hasn't gone anywhere. Why do you think we have fighters like Pac, JMM, and Cotto?

What boxing does have now is new standards which include multiple division championship wins, the amount of champions a fighter has beaten, and most importantly a smart business team. GGG seems to be out of the loop on these new modern concepts.
And as a result of that bullshit, boxing is no longer a mainstream sport in the country that once used to have the whole world tuning in to watch it's top fighters in action.

Golovkin is trying to turn the clock back to the golden age of boxing, when everybody knew who the top man was at every weight. I really hope he succeeds in doing it by unifying the MW division and becoming a mainstream star as a result. Then, hopefully, other fighters will follow his example.

Well let's see, there's been Carlos Monzon, Marvin Hagler, SRR. And that's just the middleweight division alone. People agreeing with him are idiots.

Well Robinson and monzon did and marvin hagler dominated his division for 7 years so Abel no stop talking bollocks.....is golovkin the most avoided and feared fighter in history ? Well that could possibly be true for the middlweight division...everybody is avoiding him in his weight class that's for sure

This guy is as bad as Roach with all his crap talking.

I didn't read the other posts but I can imagine that the GGG detractors are tearing their hair out in anger and the GGG buttlickers are wanking furiously.

If the entire MW division is u willing to stand in ggg's way, then he is dominating them--physical when he can, mentally when they won't face him.

Until Canelo signs the contract, he's been beaten by GGG. There are no more excuses, he got his voluntary. GGG mentally beaten him, and could snatch his balls, I mean belt and hang it up for the world to see.

Until Jacobs speaks up and grows some balls, then he's mentally beaten by GGG.

Until Suanders steps up, GGG has already mentally beaten him.
How did Saunders duck him??? Team GGG let rumors go saying Saunders turned down $6 million, then later it was at LEAST $4 million... Then it came out it was only $1.5 million. These guys make almost that fighting bums.a and I'm NOT saying Saunders is any good or even WORTH $1.5 but if it's truly about the belt negotiate at least a little

Loeffler is CHEAP as HELL! No real fighter is gonna fight him for peanuts. These guys can keep their belts and fight guys equivalent to Wade. And they NEVER NEGOTIATE! It's their way or the highway.
