He basically said that he would fight Floyd if he had the chance, but he never was campaigning for a Floyd fight. He made his comment, addressed it and set the record straight.

He ain't fighting Floyd, he made that clear.
This is what I've been saying you fool.

Simple: because Ward already fought Paul Smith at 176 and later said he can't even make 168 anymore...

Ward calling GGG in 2015 was a complete bluff -- Ward had to cover his stablemate Cotto and he also needed a HBO contract... Thus he tried to lure GGG into a fight deal with 1-2 tune-up before hand (just like he actually did to Kovalev)... Ward ain't ****** at all folks. Not to mention that Ward (who ducked previously GGG) got away by stamping GGG as a "duck" eventually...

... and now you wait for him to step into the same ring with Kovalev this year, right?
Your whole logic that a signed and ready fight isn't gonna happen is..... just weird.

Canelo has never fought someone of his size let alone a bigger guy. And even then he struggles. Next he's going to defend against Pac or maybe Roman Gonzalez.

Because Kovalev would never agree to it, Ward needs a fight that makes him worth the 2 mil minimum he gets, Ward can actually make 175(has to cut down to make it) and felt it was time to move up where he was struggling for 168.

My God. Bernard Hopkins said he would fight Floyd if he had the chance, I don't see people talking about that?

If him and Ward were serious, they would campaign for it, they didn't. End of.

He respects boxing and wont do catch weights for Canelo because Canelo is the champion in the same division and arguable of the same size if not bigger. Its a totally different thing. You are just another blind hater who feels special to go against what seems to be right and normal for the sake of attention.
People talk about fight night weight which is rehydration, but the fact is Canelo can make 154, Golovkin can't. Canelo won a 'middleweight' belt at 155 and has never fought at 160...to the Golovkin fans he needs to go fully to 160, Canelo looks like he's going to do exactly that. Go to 160 and fight Golovkin in his first fight at the full weight.

Golovkin on the other hand wanted a catchweight for Ward, but was fine with the full weight for Chavez and Froch, why?

My point was: Why place such importance on catchweight? Weightclasses are there for a reason and certain fighters seem to have no problem simply moving up to fight at the next division, i.e. Kovalev and Ward. I wasn't asking for the obvious reason as to why.

... it's a "penciled fight", not a signed fight -- as long as one opponent has a signed fight already (that opponent might get dispatched in the process as well).

GGG never fully campaigned for it a well. He just claimed he could beat Floyd because he felt it, and that because Floyd has made an unbeatable presence in the boxing circuit. Hopkins and Ward vs Floyd, idk if it can be realistic but GGG vs Floyd can easily be as Floyd has already fought at 154 having 154 belts as well.

Barring the loss of either fighter, you seem to insinuate that Ward will still find a way to not fight Kovalev later on.
