let me ask you a legitimate question.
Is it a "punk out" anytime someone rejects a garbage offer? For example, if GGG were to offer Canelo a 50-50 split at 160, and Canelo says no, is he a punk? At what point do reasonable terms actually have to come into play?
Or is it simply if the fighter you dont like rejects the deal, then its a punk out?Comment

Ward still hasn't denied turning down GGG fight
But the Ward apologist on here keep pretending it didn't happen, but Ward only wanted to fight GGG when he was sure GGG had bigger better options. Ward wanted to 50/50 GGG a year and a half in advance.
That's as lame as Lara calling out GGG but never calling k2. Really! You make fights on Twitter now.
Floyd isn't ducking GGG. But the McGregor fight is dumb as ****.
Neither did GGG offer Ward 164. In fact they offered him 168. Ward wanting to tie GGG down for a year or so while he gets tuned up isn't a real offer.None of those guys were calling out a 40 year old, 20 year pro that's 2 weight divisions below them, that has also been through 5 weight divisions already.
None of those guys said "164 or no fight" either. Those guys also earned their money fights by fighting guys that had pulses too.
GGG also spent much of his boxing life in the Amatuers. He's yet to land the big fights in his own division. He also started his ams career at WW.Comment

he isnt going around with some deep campaign to get Floyd at 154. When reporters ask what his dream fight is, like 99% of any fighter within 20 pounds of 147, the answer is Floyd.
Its not that complicatedComment

Still Peddling Ward's Extreme Hater Revisionist History
Words problem has never been that GGG didn't drop what he was doing to fight him. Ward didn't want GGG for a year and half after he made the offer. It was that GGG was gonna have the negotiation power and Ward knew it.What you mean it changes nothing?
Dude hasn't moved a pound in his pro career. Ran his mouth about beating everybody from 154-168, got challenged and punked out.
Has the nerve to try and fish in the 168 division and then try and CW the best there? Nope. Said he can beat anyone in 168? Go do it. Won't? Then goodbye.
He said he'd fight anyone from 154-168, but the fights still have to be made, and he doesn't mean k2 and GGG have to take dumb deals to fight them
Ward--turns GGG down, then comes back when GGG is blowing up. Wants to contract for a 1 1/2 years in future, but o lock 50/50 now. K2 was wise to say shove it. But they also said in early 2017 they could talk. Ward wanted late 2016. He couldn't wait 5 months! Ward knew by the end of 2016, GGG was gonna be A+ side and the split would be 70/30. Now Ward is crying about GGG fame. He's mad GGG is selling out in Cali while Ward is, well not.Comment

It's very complicated.
In fact, let me give you the definition of complicated - "consisting of many interconnecting parts or elements; intricate". https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...ted+definition
GGG's complicated life:
- Will go to 154 for Mayweather
- Will not go to 155 for Canelo
- Will go to 164 for Ward
- Will not go to 168 for Ward
- Will go to 168 for Froch, Ramirez, Thomas O., Chavez Jr, etc
- "I'm only trying to unify 160, doe" - Golovkin
Ummm, I would say this is very complicated. Maybe you should know the definition first.Comment

Using your example, it is a punk out. If that is the sole reason for the negotiations coming to a halt then it is a punk out because that can be rectified and let's be real, GGG and his team wouldn't dare make that type of 50-50 offer, not because it is garbage, because it is unreasonable. They know they would have to give up the majority of the purse.let me ask you a legitimate question.

Back to GGG and Ward.
He made a statement; "154-168, anyone." Fine toot your own horn. Everybody does. However, you don't go fishing in Ward's weight class looking to fight other guys at the SMW limit and then try and CW him. That is weak and a punk move. You can not defend that.
If GGG and his team had said that they wanted those fights at 168 so they could get comfortable with the weight and have decent preparation time so they could later fight Ward, I would have no problem with that. Dude is the best at 168, your damn right you need to prepare, just like Ward with Kovalev.
That did not take place. What we got was a whole bunch of ridiculous excuses and blabber from GGG and his team.
It would be the equivalent of Canelo trying tp fight BJS at 160 then trying to CW GGG. Punk move. If Canelo tries anything like that, the media would slaughter him. GGG did it and he gets a pass?
No way.Comment

its only "complicated" for those incapable of thinking past a 7th grade level. It's very complicated.

Plan A: unify 160
Plan B: Take big money fight at 154 (Floyd) or 168 (Froch/Chavez)
Plan C: Stay busy against willing opposition until Plan A or Plan B can happen
and you really should consider changing your name to Trollo Vista....Comment

Floyd said he could beat GGG. GGG took the challenge at 160 or 154 (where Floyd was champ). Floyd didn't want it.Oh yes there is.
Floyd ain't looking to fish around in the 160 division and fight guys there at the full 160 limit and then say GGG has to fight him at a CW. Never did anything like that. Simple, he said he could beat anyone 168, Ward said bring it, he punked out.
GGG did. He punked out.Comment
