Comments Thread For: Povetkin Tests Positive For Meldonium, Wilder Title Off

It's the same stuff Maria Sharpova was busted for. Meldonium was banned only this year so it's a substance that's been legal to take for anyone all these years and now all of a sudden WADA decides it's illegal. Povetkin should've known better but I'm sick and tired of WADA. One year a certain substance is legal and the next year you're a CHEATER if you use the same stuff again.
Fight against real hardcore drugs like steroids, nandrolone, blood-doping, (EPO) masking agents for steroids..etc but stop making all these legal supplements illegal.

The problem with Povetkin's alleged story is that I'm also told Povetkin's 3 prior samples came back negative. #boxing #microdosing

Just last night I asked for the over/under on Wilder failing a test due to shenanigans in Europe, who would've thunk their own man would've been the one to come up dirty. All that blood flow shhh should be banned period.

Here's the problem though. Same thing that happened with Sharapova. There is little to no medical literature on it. We dont know how long it takes to show up in a drug test or how long it takes to totally clear the system.
He can simply say he took it before it was banned and it must have shown up just now. Some drugs you can test negative for and then test positive for as metabolites enter the body from stored fat cells. Start exercising heavily and long stored metabolites show up as fat breaks down.
Yeah he probably did take it after it was banned. Good luck proving it though. There is simply not enough present knowledge about he nature of this drug.

Took the fight to Russia. Agreed to the stipulations. Gave approximately zero ****s regarding the negotiations. Meanwhile his opponent is juicing it up. I smell pussy!
