So what's the problem with facing him then and I will say this to you as I just did with Denium, be consistent with your views and not be some blind ignorant twat who only sees what he wants to see....if hughie fury backs away from a title shot he ought to be ashamed of himself because he will not go any further than what he is now if dillian Whyte gets there.... A British title fight and a Lonsdale belt is the catalyst you need for a european shot and then the sky's the limit after that.....basically there trying to steer him in a nay direction towards bigger things....but there are no easy directions now....whyte at British level and and joshua at world level.....and he fails on both routes ..simples....as for fury I have never once said it was not commendable what he did in Germany, he fully deserved the victory and what I ill say and will always say is it was a horrible boring fight and probably the worst heavyweight world title fight I have ever seen in my life...does he deserve huge credit for going over and beating a dominant champion in his own back yard...of course he does but they won't make me a fan of him and I have always said to you from day 1 . I've never really liked klitchckos style in the ring....he got away with a lot illegal tactics in some of his defences and the povetkin fight he should have been DQ ..without question....yes I do think joshua will beat him quite convincingly and win by KO... U don't think so and that's your opinion and although I won't agree I will say fair play.
But I won't accept when you downgrade anthony joshuas opponents as bums and then hughie fury is offered that so called bum but ducks him...and then you wil say again joshua has not boxed anybody...do you realise how ****** u look lol
I haven't said that AJ has fought only bums, just that he has never fought anybody on Fury's level, or on the level of some of the men that Fury has beaten.

And please, don't come back with "apart from Wlad doe ..." that is a silly response.

Fury beat Wlad. You might think it was a boring fight, but Fury won it, and nothing I've seen from AJ so far leads me to believe that he could beat Wlad Klitschko, either at home or away.

It is actually a medical problem they're trying to get straightened out. Hope they figure out what it is and this fight happens later this year

        Peter Fury statement.

"You couldn't go into a fight with someone like Dillian Whyte at only 30% and not carrying a lot of power. That's suicide.

"Even if he was 100% fit, though, we would not want to take the fight with Dillian because I know all of Dillian's people from London and they know us.

"We've got a connection with them and we know them very well so it's not a fight we'd relish taking. We've known them a long time and we class Dillian as a friend.

"In Hughie's last fight, he didn't feel well going into the fight. We had him checked again and he's got such bad acne - so bad that it's called something else - that it's having an adverse effect on his body, leaving him tired and fatigued.

"We took him to a Harley Street doctor and they told us he needs at least five months of medicine to fight this because the immune system is so busy fighting the infections on his body. It's putting him in a 'down' state and he's only fighting on 30 or 40 per cent.

"It was one of the worst cases of it that the doctor has ever seen and years ago, people would be in a hospital bed for weeks on end with it. Fortunately, now they've got tablets that he can take and still train and box, but it'll take five to seven months to clear it up on his body.

"Before we can step Hughie up again properly, we've got to make sure his health is absolutely right.

"These are the facts. My son is a world talent and is up to fighting anybody, but I'm not going to put him against top-level contenders when he's not in good health.

"We have to get him right. Until I get that right, Hughie will not be facing any world-class opposition. We'll keep him active at a lower level but he's not going to step up with this illness hanging over him.

"I'd like to say to some of those keyboard warriors out there, who come to me on an hourly basis, that my lads don't duck anybody.

"They live and breathe fighting. I take care and guide them like anybody needs guiding. Am I going to put my son in serious fights when a Harley Street specialist says to me he has a serious problem? I wouldn't be doing my job."

        Source.

Well that's where disagree and that's that...u think fury I think Joshua... Besides klitchcko there resumes are pretty much the same and Martin like it or not was unbeaten and did win a world title unlike chisora who has lost every big fighter he has faced...cunningham was a cruiserweight and if you class that a bette name on resume then ur deluded......it's like Joshua if he faced lebedev....he would seriously hurt him....don't dress up fury as I said as if he's had a brilliant resume because he hasn't ...he's been pro for 7 years and had a total of 25 fights...his record should have better names if your a been a pro for 7 years....he's been steered very carefully to where he has got with the ability he has...and now it's looks like there up to the same tricks with hughie...... Joshua knocks out fury whether it's this year or next

Price needs some time to build back up and would probably **** himself if he fought Whyte right now. But I'm down for Whyte/Del Boy, that would be good fun. They might kill each other at the weigh in. In the meantime, who does Whyte fight on the Johsua card? Lewison or Sexton maybe?

i don't get this part though

if two fighters are related like tyson and hughie, or if they currently share the same trainer and gym, then i can give them a pass for not wanting to fight each other, otherwise it's not really an acceptable excuse to me. throughout history boxers have always fought people they're friendly with. it's a small scene after all

w/r/t the medical condition, it sounds like he needs to take some time off altogether. luckily he's young. also, if it's related to acne then won't it go away naturally in a few years anyway?

Can't fight Whyte because Hughie's not 100%, but wouldn't do so anyway because we're fwends.

I have not seen too many "good friends" end up having a good scrap. it's either a blowout with a questionable ending like Scott/Wilder or it turns into a terrible fight because neither guy goes in for the kill. Barrett/Rahman for example...

Who cares? Fury's team bottled it.

Simply put Dillian Whyte beats Hughie Fury and the Furies know it. I think its sensible they pass on this fight. Also Hughie has a lot of health problems and didn't look 100% healthy in his last fight (he looked sluggish).
